Officers Wells and Ahern responded to a call of a drunk passenger on MUNI.  The suspect was asleep on the coach and the officers attempted to wake him.  When he awoke the officers noticed he had his hands inside of his pants.  The officers told the suspect to pull his hands out several times and he refused.  The officers suspected he was possibly hiding a weapon or drugs.  The officers approached the man and attempted to pull his hands out of his pants to handcuff him.  The suspect resisted and a struggle ensued.  The officers were able to take the suspect into custody.  The officers then found a 6 inch metal nail in the seat the suspect was previously seated.  The suspect was booked for the weapon, resisting arrest and an outstanding warrant.  Report number 160465029

Officer Parker responded to a call of a person who was being assaulted.  The victim was walking home and saw a vehicle driving by make a u-turn and park.  The suspect got out of the vehicle and walked up to the victim and told him if he wanted to fight.  The victim ignored him and the suspect punched him in the face.  The suspect continued to punch the victim and pushed him to the ground.  The suspect then started to kick him in the body and head.  The suspect got back into his vehicle and fled the scene.  Report number 160461908

Officers Cross and Ocreto responded to a call of a theft.  The victim was about to go into a store when he was approached by two suspects who demanded his wallet.  The victim refused and the suspect punched him in the face causing him to fall to the ground.  The suspects went through his pockets and then fled the scene.  Report number 160463738

Officers Zasly and Ocreto responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle parked with the occupants possibly drinking.  The officers contacted the occupants who had open containers in the vehicle.  The occupants were told to step out of the car.  A computer check revealed an outstanding warrant for one of the occupants.  A transportation search was done of the occupant with the warrant.  The officer found suspected cocaine on the occupant’s person and he was booked for both offenses.  Report number 160461538

Officer Lim responded to a call of a person sleeping in a residents doorway.  He arrived and spoke to the suspect who got up and prepared to leave.  The suspect then started to urinate on the residence.  The officer told him to stop and he did not.  The officer attempted to place handcuffs on the suspect and a struggle ensued.  The officer was able to place the suspect in handcuffs and he was later cited for the violation.   Report number 160460499

Officers Hermosura and Dilag responded to a call of an assault.  The victim had gotten off the bus and was approached by the suspect as he was walking home.  The suspect waited until the victim reached his home and then asked him for money.  The victim told him he did not have any money.  The suspect punched the victim in the face and then fled.  The victim lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital due to a laceration on his face.  Report number 160460201

Officers Villalozano and Wong responded to a call of a robbery with a gun.  The victim said he was crossing the street when a vehicle pulled up to him.  The suspect got out and walked up to him and pointed a gun at him.  The suspect told him to give him everything he had on him.  The victim complied and the suspect got back in the vehicle and fled the scene.  Report number 160457866

Officers Wells and Paras responded to a call of a robbery with a caustic chemical.  The victim said he was walking down the street when the suspect stepped in front of him and told him to give her all his money.  The victim gave her his money and then she sprayed him in the face with an unknown substance.  The suspect then fled the scene.  Report number 160459408

5:00pm                4300 Mission St.              Aggravated Assault with knife Officers Calupad and Dungca responded to a call of an aggravated assault with a knife at a business.  The victim and suspect have an ongoing issue and know each other.  The suspect arrived at the victims work place intoxicated.  The suspect had a knife in his hand and ran at the victim with his arm extended and the knife pointed at him.  The suspect was yelling at the victim that he was going to kill him.  The victim ran and found a stick which he used to defend himself.  The victim was not injured in the incident.  The suspect was treated at the hospital for injuries and later booked for the assault and terrorist threats.  Report number 160456824

Officers Scott and Hardy responded to a call of a person with a gun detained by security at a bar.  The security officers pat searched the person as he entered the bar.  They found a loaded gun in the person’s waistband.  They removed the gun and detained the person without incident until police arrived on the scene.  The person was booked for possession of a loaded firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.  Report number 160454947

Officers Aiello and Ferronato responded to a call of vandalism at a fast food place.  The victim told the officers that two suspects entered the establishment and had to wait to be assisted.  They preordered their meal online and became angry at having to wait.  There was also a mistake made by the victim when counting the money.  The suspects then insisted that they be given an additional condiment for free.  The victim said he could not and the suspects threw a cardboard sign and chair at him. He was able to dodge the objects thrown at him. The suspects then damaged a computer monitor and left the establishment.   Report number 160454862

Officers Jensen and Carew responded to a call of a robbery.  They spoke to the victim who said she was walking down the street with a tote bag over her shoulder.  The suspect ran up behind her and grabbed the bag off her shoulder knocking her to the ground.  The suspect then ran to a car getting in and drove off at a high rate of speed.  The victim had minor lacerations to her hand from her fall.  Report number 160454602

Officers Tupper and Sugitan were on patrol when they spotted a suspect riding a bicycle on a sidewalk.  The officers pulled alongside the suspect and ordered him to stop.  The suspect refused the officer’s orders and began to peddle at a high rate of speed in an attempt to escape.  Officer Tupper exited the vehicle and gave chase to the suspect. In the pursuit, the suspect rode his bicycle through a stop sign without attempting to stop.  At one point, the suspect fell from the bicycle.  He got up and continued to flee on foot while pushing his bicycle beside him.  The officers caught up with the suspect as he found himself trapped between some parked cars.  Officer Tupper ordered the suspect to stop, and again he tried to flee on his bicycle.  A physical fight ensued between the officers and suspect as he refused to comply with the officer’s orders.  Several other officers arrived on scene to assist. The suspect was finally taken into custody.  An ambulance was summoned to treat the suspect for minor injuries sustained during his resistace, and he continued to fight with officers and medical personnel.  With the assistance of the officers, the medics were finally able to restrain the suspect and he was transported to the hospital.  Further investigation revealed that the bicycle the suspect was riding was registered through the Safe Bike program and was reported as stolen.  The suspect was booked on several charges.  Report 160450741

Officers Phillips and Trujillo responded to a report of a robbery with a gun at a gas station.  The victim told the officers that she was working the cash register when a suspect entered the store and picked up a bottle of soda.  The suspect approached the register with the soda in hand and pulled out money.  The victim thought the suspect was going to pay for the soda.  The victim began to ring up the purchase and opened the cash register to provide change to the suspect.  Upon the cash register opening, the suspect produced a hand gun, which he pointed at the victim.  The suspect grabbed the cash from the register.  The victim slammed the register shut and the suspect fled with a little over $60 in cash.  The victim was not hurt in this incident.  Report 160450058

Officer Hermosura was dispatched to a call regarding a shooting.  He made contact with the victim who advised that she was sitting in her living room watching TV when she heard a several loud pops coming from outside.  She then heard a loud bang that startled her enough to make her drop to the floor and call 911.  Officer Hermosura found several bullet holes in the walls of the victim’s home and a bullet fragment in the victim’s bathroom.  No one was injured during this incident.  Report 160452117

Officers Ali, Alday and several other officers responded to a call of shots fired.  Several bullet casings were found on scene, but no one was found injured.  The officers canvassed the neighborhood for witnesses.  This incident is still under investigation.  Report 160452060

Serious Incidents: 

4:45pm                          2600 Blk Bayshore Blvd                           Robbery
Officers Ali and Alday responded to a report of a physical altercation.  Upon arrival, the officers made contact with the victim, who was on scene and being treated by medics.  The victim told the officers that three suspects had shoplifted from his store.  When he confronted the suspects, they ignored him and left the store with the merchandise.  The victim told the suspects not to return to the store.  The suspects got into a vehicle, but not before attempting to steal more merchandise from an outside display.  The victim grabbed clay pot and threw it towards the suspect vehicle, striking it in the windshield.  Two of the suspects then exited the vehicle and began to physically assault the victim by punching and scratching him.  The suspects got back into their vehicle and threatened to return to shoot the victim and break the store windows.  This incident is currently under investigation.
