Serious
Incidents:
1:16am 2900 Blk. Alemany Suspicious
Vehicle
A
suspicious van caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Demkowski and Smith
while both were on patrol. The van’s passenger door was open and one of the
occupants was standing in the doorway. The officers ran the license plates to
the van, which came back belonging to another dismantled vehicle and were
prohibited from being used on any vehicle. The officers contacted the
registered owner of the van and he told the pair that he sent the car to the
junk yard and it should not be on the road. Two occupants of the van were
removed and released at the scene. The license plates were seized and the van
was towed to impound. Report number: 180130202
