Incidents:
6:30pm Mansell & San Bruno Robbery
A
woman waiting at the bus stop for the #8 Muni bus was suddenly approached from
behind by an unknown man. The suspect attempted to pull the purse from the
victim who pulled back, leading to a struggle. The struggle continued for a
short time until the suspect threw the victim to the ground. The victim then
took the purse off her body and threw it on the ground. The suspect then
gathered up the purse and ran away westbound on Mansell. Ingleside Officers
Dungca and Calupad arrived and broadcast a description of the suspect. The loss
was a wallet, cash, credit cards, a debit card, cell phone, keys, and
identification. Within a short time, several items were charged to the victim’s
credit cards at a nearby Walgreens and gas station. Report number: 180015892
