Serious
Incidents:
7:30pm San Jose & Ocean Stolen Vehicle
A
citizen walked into Ingleside Station telling Police Services Aid Bruce that
his van was stolen the previous night. The victim told Bruce that his van was
in the parking lot at a nearby repair shop on San Jose Avenue. The owner of the
repair shop called him to say his facility’s surveillance system showed the
suspect breaking into the van and driving away on San Jose Avenue. PSA Bruce
checked the department’s computer system, which showed the van was towed from a
parking place on the 500 block of Post Street earlier in the day. The van owner
traveled to Auto Return to recover his vehicle. Report number: 180007689
