The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend.

Arrests:

5:44pm       Schwerin & Towerside              D.U.I
A collision between two vehicles prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officer Anton to investigate. When he arrived on scene he found one car collided with another car traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the car that was hit told Officer Anton that the other driver suddenly crossed over and hit him head on. Officer Anton attempted to talk to the other driver but was unable because the driver was too intoxicated to talk. He had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and alcohol on his breath. A judge issued a warrant for a blood draw, which was performed at San Francisco General Hospital where the suspect was taken for treatment. After the blood draw the suspect was charged with DUI and remained at the hospital for treatment. Report number: 17105067

8:51am       Mansell & Girard                  Evading Police
Ingleside Officers Clayton and Salazar were on routine patrol when they spotted a Nissan with tinted windows and paper plates exiting the freeway at San Bruno Avenue. The Nissan matched the description of a vehicle involved in numerous home burglaries and home invasions. The officers turned on their red light and siren in an attempt to stop the suspected vehicle. But instead of stopping, the vehicle accelerated at a high rate of speed driving through stop signs and on the wrong side of the road. During the pursuit, Clayton and Salazar, observed several items being tossed from one of the windows. The chase ensued until the officers lost the Nissan on Silver Avenue. The officers retraced the pursuit and recovered a sweatshirt, t-shirt, gloves, baseball hat, ski mask, beanie, a power drill, and a paint scraper. Report number: 171049115

4:00pm       100 Blk. Concord                   Hot Prowl Burglary
A woman exited her bathroom and came face to face with a suspect holding a crow bar. Fortunately, the suspect turned and ran out of the home. She called police and Ingleside Officers Archilla and Lustenberger arrived and found the front door and two inside doors damaged by the suspect. Two bedrooms had been ransacked with drawers pulled open and items strewn on the floor. The resident told the officers that the thief escaped with a large amount of cash that was hidden in some clothing. Report number: 171050429

9:00pm       30th & Mission                        Robbery
A Safeway shopper placed her groceries and her two year old daughter in her car in the parking lot then turned around to see a man holding a knife and his woman companion standing beside him. The male suspect grabbed a necklace from the victim tearing it off her neck. Next, the man took her cell phone and punched her in the head. All the while this was going on the two year old was crying inside the victim’s car. The suspects then left and the victim drove to Ingleside Station where she told Officers Garza and Wong about the robbery and assault. The officers called for medical assistance and the victim was transported to Kaiser Hospital in South San Francisco for treatment. Report number: 171051198

10:08pm     Unit Blk. Niagara                   Robbery
Ingleside Officers Stoffel and Parker were dispatched to the unit block of Niagara to investigate a robbery. When they arrived they found the victim who told the officers that he was walking home on Niagara from Mission when a man suddenly appeared between parked cars holding a handgun. The suspect asked the victim for his wallet. When the victim didn’t say anything, the suspect racked a bullet into the gun’s chamber and inched closer to the witness asking again for his wallet. This time, the victim complied and surrendered his wallet and cell phone. The suspect then fled on foot on Niagara towards Mission. Report number: 171051314
