Arrests:

4:11am       600 Blk. 30th Street                          Evading Police
Ingleside Officers Wong and Dedet were on routine patrol, driving north on Mission when they were startled by a Volkswagen Passat driving south, straight at them, in the northbound lanes. The officers evaded the collision, turned around and turned on their emergency lights and siren in an attempt to stop the driver. But instead of stopping, the driver took off at a high rate of speed east on Crescent without stopping at several stop signs. In the interest of public safety, Wong and Dedet terminated their pursuit and broadcast a description of the suspect. A short time later Dedet and Wong spotted the driver on the 600 block of 30th Street. This time the driver stopped, got out, and raised his hands over his head to surrender. He was arrested for evading police, driving without a license, and several vehicle code violations. Report number: 17095905
