8:15am 600 Blk. Persia Hot Prowl Burglary
A
woman heard a knock at the front door of her home. She went to the front door,
looked outside, and saw a white van belonging to the workman who was remodeling
her residence. She opened the door and was immediately confronted by an unknown
man wearing a white plastic mask. The intruder pushed the homeowner into the
home, through a hallway and into a bathroom. He took an electrical cord and
tied the bathroom door shut. However, the resident was able to escape through a
second bathroom door and ran out of the residence telling a worker to call
police. Ingleside Officers, Cagney, Salazar, Sgt. Springer, K9 Officer Jimenez and
several other units arrived and searched the home without success. The
homeowner looked through the home and found nothing missing. Report number:

12:00noon 1000 Blk. Geneva Hot Prowl Burglary
A man
and his girlfriend returned home and noticed his locked gate open and the front
door ajar. He pushed open the door and was immediately confronted by a suspect
who said, “I’ll shoot you”. The victim
noticed two more suspects inside his home and immediately turned and fled down
the street toward Madrid. He told Ingleside Officers Chew, Watts, and Leung
that while running away, he saw the suspect enter a dark blue Dodge Magnum
which fled northbound on Madrid. The officers cleared the home before allowing
the homeowners back inside. Several rooms were ransacked and jewelry and cash
