Arrests:1:51pm Persia & Ocean NarcoticsIngleside Officers Peralta and Alexander were on routine patrol when they spotted an older Ford Explorer with a large crack in the windshield that was shielding the driver’s view of the road. The officers stopped the vehicle which had two occupants. A search of the Explorer revealed products used to smoke methamphetamine along with a vial of GHB. The driver was cited at the scene for several narcotics violations and his passenger was released without charges. Report number: 170813076Serious Incidents:1:10am Geneva & Paris RobberyA man walking near the intersection of Geneva and Paris was suddenly confronted by two unknown men. The victim told Ingleside Officers Lozano and McCall that the two men shoved and pushed him and then threatened him. One of the suspects reached into the victim’s grocery bag and removed cash, a passport, a debit card, and checkbook. The suspects then escaped into a nearby apartment house. The officers searched the apartment house, but did not find the suspects. The victim said she felt something “pointy” in her back. She told Ingleside Officers Marshall and Tupper the suspect asked for her cellphone which she surrendered to him before he ran to a waiting vehicle that sped away.
