8:42am                              Putnam St/Crescent Ave                       Warrant
A man asleep in a lawn chair on San Francisco Water Department property caught the attention of Ingleside officers Curry and Campos. The area has received dozens of homeowner complaints regarding trespassing, homeless encampments, and garbage. The City has posted signs in the area warning trespassers they could be arrested. Curry and Campos ran a computer check of the sleepy trespasser that showed an active warrant for his arrest. He was also on active probation. The officers took the man into custody and transported him to Ingleside Station for booking. Report number: 170571246

Serious Incidents:

12:00noon                            500 blk Moscow               Hot Prowl Burglary
A report of a burglary sent Ingleside officers Wise and Hoge to investigate. When the officers arrived they found the home’s front gate forced open and the front door also open with fresh pry marks. Inside the residents told the officers that electronic items, family documents, and identity and medical cards were missing. Several residents were home at the time of the incident but were asleep during the break in. Wise and Hoge notified Crime Scene Investigation of the crime. Report number: 170573270

4:39pm                              Persia Ave/Madrid St                            Robbery
A teenager, on his way to a pickup basketball game at the Excelsior Playground, was robbed of his property by two other young men. The victim told Ingleside officers Suguitan and Hornstein the two robbers approached him and asked to use his cell phone. The victim told the officers that he knew he was going to be robbed so he handed over his cell phone. One of the two robbers then showed a knife to the victim and asked for his backpack. The victim surrendered his backpack and the suspects fled north on Madrid and then east on Persia. Report number: 170572250
