Arrests:
2:15am Brazil & La
Grande Warrant
Ingleside
officer Fegan was patrolling an area of the district where thieves dump stolen
cars. He noticed a parked older Honda Accord with no front license plate. He
also noticed the windows were fogged up showing there was probably someone
inside. Fegan called for assistance and Ingleside officers Dedet, Young,
Hermosura, and Sgt. Hoang arrived on scene. The officers asked the driver to
exit and he complied. A woman companion asleep in the backseat was awakened and
also removed from the vehicle. A computer check revealed the driver was on
felony probation. His female companion was also on felony probation and had an
arrest warrant for burglary. Officer Fegan asked the driver for the key to the
car. He said he didn’t have one but his female companion had the key. She said
she didn’t have the key but another passenger hiding in a nearby bush had the
key. They located a third subject, who didn’t have the key, but was also on
felony probation. The woman passenger
was arrested for the warrant and transported to Ingleside Station. Report

he “was working on that”. A computer check revealed that his license was

Animal Cruelty
Witnesses called police after seeing a woman park her car and
then toss her older white dog out into the street where the dog was almost
struck by several passing cars. Ingleside officers Washington and Ocreto
arrived and talked to several witnesses who said the dog appeared scared while
avoiding passing vehicles. They were able to corral the dog and bring him to
safety on the sidewalk. The dog’s female owner then approached the group,
grabbed hold of the dog and placed him back into the car. Before speeding away,
the suspect told the crowd of good Samaritans that she lets him out all the
time and he always comes back to the car. Report
