Arrests:

8:43pm       3300 Blk. of Mission                                                          Theft
A customer entered the Safeway store intent on picking up enough food for a wonderful meal for several people. That’s not an unusual occurrence. What was unusual was the customer didn’t want to pay for the dinner party. A store security officer told Ingleside Officers Padilla and Hoge that the suspect took his two shopping bags and placed 10 pints of ice cream, two packages of salmon, two bags of popcorn, one six pack of beer, two bottles of wine, some ground buffalo, a package of ground beef, and some pre-cooked barbecue in the bags and walked past the registers and out of the store. The security officer detained him in the parking lot and took him back into the store to await arrest by Hoge and Padilla. Report number: 170286473

10:21pm       Bernal Heights & Anderson              Recovered Vehicle
A new Toyota 4Runner stopped in the middle of the street, with the engine running, caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Ortega and Zhao. The pair ran the license plate through a computer database which revealed the Toyota was stolen earlier in San Francisco. Ortega and Zhao asked for backup and Ingleside officers Fogarty, Trumpp, and Siracusa arrived to assist in the arrest. Inside the Toyota were several juveniles and a couple of adults, one of whom lived in the neighborhood and was unlicensed. He was arrested and booked for vehicle theft at Ingleside Station. The other occupants of the car were released at the scene. Report number: 170285776
