Excelsior Carjacking
A report of a robbery and carjacking prompted dispatch to send
Ingleside Officers Cagney, Dominguez, and Siracusa to investigate. When they
arrived on scene they found the victim lying on the ground, writhing in pain.
The officers called for medical assistance and talked to the victim before he
was transported to the hospital for treatment. He told the officers that he had
just exited his parked vehicle when he was approached by two unknown men. The
suspects, one holding a weapon, demanded his cell phone, car keys, and wallet.
The victim relinquished his property and the suspects then pushed him to the
sidewalk where he hit his head. While on the sidewalk the assault continued
with the suspects kicking and hitting him several times. The suspects then
jumped into the victim’s car which fled south on Naples Street. The three
Ingleside officers broadcast a description of the stolen vehicle and shortly
thereafter Mission District units found the car abandoned on the 1100 block of
Selby Street. The car was towed to impound and the victim was transported to
San Francisco General for treatment of his injuries. Report number: 170331943

Street Hot Prowl Burglary
A man was awoken by footsteps going down the stairs in his
home and the front door slamming shut. The homeowner went downstairs and found
his back door open. His wife was also wakened by the noise and went to the
kitchen where she found two purses containing a wallet, house and car keys,
cash, check book, and credit cards missing. Ingleside Officers Hoge and Padilla
arrived and found the lock on the garage broken. They determined the thief or
thieves entered the home through the garage door and went to the back yard
where they went into the home through the back door. Report number: 170331993

Still Robbery
w/Gun
A man, sitting in his car with the driver’s window down, was
surprised by a suspect standing next to window with a 9mm gun. The suspect
said, “Give me everything you have”. Before the victim could answer, a second
suspect broke the passenger window and opened the door and got in the car. The victim
surrendered his wallet, cell phone, id, and driver’s license but, as he told
Ingleside officers Wong and Zhao, that wasn’t enough. The two suspects then
pistol whipped and punched the victim several times before escaping in an
unknown direction. The victim was transported to San Francisco General for
treatment. Report number: 170332054
