A woman sitting on a Muni bus was robbed of her possessions.
The victim told Ingleside Officers Chang and Sherry that she was sitting near
the rear door with a shoulder bag resting on her lap. When the bus pulled to a
stop a passenger, sitting behind her, grabbed the bag from her lap and ran off
the bus. The victim ran after the thief for a short distance then returned to
the bus and told the driver to call police. The loss was a wallet containing a
moderate amount of cash. Report number: 170082293
