Serious Incidents:

7:40am       Mission & Excelsior                 Battery
A “road rage” dispute resulted in one driver being doused with a cold beverage. The victim walked into Ingleside Station and told Officer Trujillo that a short time before he was stopped on Excelsior, at Mission, waiting for the light to turn green when a pedestrian started crossing the street just as the light turned green for the driver. He said while he waited for the pedestrian to clear the crosswalk, a motorist behind him started blowing his horn. Once the pedestrian cleared, the victim turned south on Mission into a bus stop to let the driver behind him pass. Instead of passing him, the driver pulled up next to him and rolled down his window to ask why he was driving too slow. At that point one of the passengers in the other car threw a cold beverage at the victim splashing into the car, on his clothes, and onto the side of the vehicle. The suspect then took off and eventually turned northbound on Alemany with the victim following behind. Another confrontation took place on Alemany with passengers and the driver of the suspects SUV exiting and yelling at the victim who was in the car with his one year old daughter. After a short while, the suspects got back into their car and sped away and the victim went to Ingleside Station to report the incident. Report number: 170070890

7:15pm       Blythedale & Hahn                 Discharging of a Firearm
A call of “shots fired” sent Ingleside Officers Barajas, Lustenberger, Sgt. Dunne and other units to the unit block of Blythedale Avenue. The officers found no evidence or witnesses at the scene but nearby security cameras recorded an incident where a passenger in a parked vehicle exchanged gunshots with a passerby shortly after a conversation between the two suspects. Report number: 170073189
