All are welcome to attend.We hope to see you there!Town Hall MeetingA town hall meeting will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 6:00 PM to provide the community with an update on the investigation of the officer involved shooting that occurred on the 500 block of Capitol Avenue on Friday, January 6th.This town hall meeting will be held at the Minnie & Lovie Ward Recreation Center, 650 Capitol Avenue.Arrests:12:22pm 6200 Blk. 3rd Street FirearmIngleside Officer Barajas and Sgt. Dunne were traveling out of the district when they spotted a late model BMW doing “donuts” in the street. The officers tailed the suspect in the neighborhood and as he entered the “takeout” line at a fast food restaurant on Third Street. The officers activated their emergency lights, and with the help of a Bayview Station unit, asked the driver to exit the vehicle. The suspect had active misdemeanor traffic warrants out of San Francisco and San Bruno. In a backpack, the suspect had a loaded .40 caliber firearm and several packets of marijuana. He was transported to Ingleside Station and booked for the weapon and the warrants. Report number: 1700203626:00pm 2800 Blk. Alemany Vehicle TamperingA man sleeping in a car prompted the owner of the vehicle to call dispatch. Ingleside Officers Mora and Canchola arrived to investigate and found the suspect asleep in the back seat. They removed him from the car and a search revealed a glass pipe used to smoke narcotics. A records check turned up arrest warrants for car theft and narcotics. He was arrested and transported to Ingleside Station. Report number: 1700233007:46pm Mission & Avalon Recovered VehicleAn older Toyota with an object dangling from the rear view mirror, blocking the driver’s view, caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Archilla, Malatesta, and Filamor. The officers ran the plate which revealed that the Toyota was stolen. Archilla radioed for backup and followed the Toyota as it traveled through the neighborhood until backup arrived and they stopped the car at Jerrold and Bayshore. Inside the officers found two men and a woman all with records. They also found a quantity of methamphetamine. More disturbing, was they also found a 10 year old child. He was given to the child’s grandmother who was summoned to the scene. All the adults were transported to Ingleside Station where the driver was arrested for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, various narcotics violations. One other occupant was charged with narcotics violations and an outstanding warrant out of Kern County. The other occupant was released at the station.
