Ingleside Sgt. Kumli and Officer Boivie were on routine patrol near a high crime area when they spotted four men camping in an unauthorized area. One of the men had a quantity of methamphetamine hidden in his beanie. He was also on felony probation and besides, the beanie full of narcotics, had several shaved keys used to break into and steal cars. He was taken to Ingleside Station for booking. Another man, with an outstanding felony arrest warrant, joined the first subject for a trip to Ingleside Station. The other two men were released at the scene. Report number: 170036513

6:54pm       2700 Blk. Diamond St.              D.U.I
A report of a collision prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officers Alioto and Wise to the scene. When they arrived they found a woman standing near her vehicle, but no sign of a collision. The officers questioned the woman and soon discovered that she had been drinking out of several containers of alcohol. A roadside sobriety test proved that she was incapable of performing simple tasks. She was transported to the CHP facility on 8th Street where a breath alcohol test revealed a blood alcohol level eight times the legal limit. She was booked at the County Jail for DUI. Repot number: 170037674
