Arrests:

12:50pm     600 Blk. Teresita                       Trespassing
A man and woman heard footsteps on the roof of their home. The man went up to his rooftop and saw a man, with red markings on his face, with no shirt, and wearing blue jeans standing on the roof of a neighboring home. The man went back into his home and called police. Ingleside Officers Hornstein, Rissetto, Campos, and several other units responded and found the suspect on the roof of a neighbor’s home. The suspect jumped off the roof and was immediately placed in custody and charged with trespassing. Report number: 160919270



Serious Incidents:

2:45am       700 Blk. London                        Hot Prowl Burglary
A young woman was sleeping in her bedroom when she heard scratching noises coming from her bedroom window. She told Ingleside Officers Lozano and McCall that she keeps her window open about three inches for ventilation and the window has a screen. The woman peeked out the window and saw the suspect standing about four feet away from her window and the screen had a small hole cut by the suspect. The woman notified her father and he quickly went outside with a flashlight and saw the suspect running away from the home and jumping into a waiting Toyota truck that was double parked in front of the home. The truck then sped off southbound on London Street toward Amazon Avenue. Report number: 160918078


4:22am       500 Duncan                                Hot Prowl Burglary
A resident called police to report his home had been burglarized. The victim told Ingleside Officers Valenzuela and Rodriquez that he woke up around 6am and saw the light on his remote garage door opener blinking. He went to his garage and saw the garage door open and some power tools missing. He showed the officers security camera video showing two suspects entering the garage after 4 in the morning, looking through several items, and taking the construction tools. The video also showed the suspects entering the victim’s home entry way and taking items from that location before leaving the premises and leaving in an unknown vehicle. Report number: 160918335


11:11pm     400 Blk. Vienna                          Robbery w/knife
Ingleside Officers Landis and Neuerburg were dispatched to interview a woman who was robbed of her cell phone by an unknown suspect. The victim told the officers that she parked her car in front of her home and noticed a suspect hiding behind a nearby vehicle. The suspect then approached the victim and displayed a knife asking her for cash. The victim said she didn’t have any cash. The suspect then asked for her cell phone, which the victim surrendered to the suspect. He then fled south on Vienna Street accompanied by an accomplice. Report number: 160920669
