Ave. Assault, Att. Homicide
Teachers and administrators placed a school on “Lockdown”
after several shots were fired at students in the school’s parking lot. Over a
dozen Ingleside officers responded to the scene fearing that an “active
shooter” was in the school building. The officers went through the building and
found no threats to the students and faculty. Witnesses told the officers that
four juveniles escaped the scene by running into McLaren Park. Medical
personnel arrived and found three students suffering from gunshot wounds. All
were immediately transported to San Francisco General Hospital and St. Luke’s
Hospital. A fourth gunshot victim walked into Bayview Station. He was
transported to California Pacific Medical Center for treatment. The officers
interviewed several witnesses who provided descriptions of the suspects. A few
days after the incident, SFPD investigators arrested two suspects. The
Investigation is continuing. Report number: 160849558

Dr. Att. Robbery
A woman walking to her parked car was accosted by a man who
pushed her against the car and demanded money. The victim screamed and the
robber backed away and said, “I’m Just Kidding”. The victim took out her cell
phone, snapped a picture of the escaping suspect, and then called police.
Ingleside Officers Conceicao, Baldovino, Morrow, Rodriquez, and
Valenzuela-Rodriquez responded. A short time later, Officers
Valenzuela-Rodriquez and Morrow found the suspect near the Jerry Garcia
Amphitheatre. The victim was brought to the scene of the arrest and positively
identified the suspect as the young man who assaulted her. However, citing the
suspect’s age, the woman victim refused to press charges and only asked that
the suspect apologize for his actions. He did and he was driven home where he
was released to his parents. Report number: 160848469
