The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend. Thank you.


The San Francisco Police Commission is seeking community input on the recruitment process for the next San Francisco Chief of Police.

Members of the public are welcome to provide public comment at the Commission’s regularly scheduled meetings, or submit written materials to the Commission, or take the community input survey available at http://www.ralphandersen.com/sfpc-survey/.

In addition, the Commission has one (1) scheduled community event remaining where Commissioners will meet with members of the public and listen to input regarding the qualities and characteristics sought in the next Chief of Police.  Two or three Commissioners will attend each event, which are scheduled on the following dates at the following locations:

▪ Monday, August 29, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 1111 Gough Street, San Francisco

A woman waiting for a Muni bus was attacked and robbed of her valuables. The victim told Ingleside Sgt. Lopez and Officer Mackenzie that when she took out her Muni pass an unknown suspect approached from behind and pushed her. He then grabbed her purse from her shoulder and ran away northbound on Santos Street. The loss was a significant amount of cash, an IPhone, college ID, ATM card, and house keys. Sgt. Lopez and Officer Mackenzie gave the victim a ride home and advised her to change the locks on her home and notify her bank and school of the theft. Report number: 160667491
