Arrests:

5:12am                                         100 Blk. Foerster                        Burglary
A woman taking her dog for an early morning walk was intrigued by a foot stool on the sidewalk near her backyard fence. The mystery was solved a moment later when she saw two legs sticking out of the bedroom window of her home. The legs belonged to a woman who had used the footstool to climb over the fence into the homeowner’s backyard and subsequently into the woman’s home. The victim recognized the burglar as a woman who had previously assaulted her and was wanted by police. The homeowner yelled out, “Are you back again”? The suspect didn’t respond but instead ran away only to be apprehended by Ingleside officers Dudley and Landis about a block away, part of a team of officers dispatched to the scene. A short distance away, Ingleside Sgt. Singh stopped a vehicle driven by woman who may have been the suspect’s accomplice. The driver of the vehicle had ignored a stop sign and had a suspended license, and no insurance. The driver was cited and released pending further investigation. Her vehicle was towed to impound. The burglary suspect was jailed on that charge as well as assault and battery. Report number: 160505073

10:39am                       3300 Blk. Mission                    Attempted Robbery
A man approached a customer at a laundromat asking for money. When the customer didn’t respond, the suspect punched the customer in the side of the face, causing him to almost lose consciousness. The victim then went outside and attempted to call police on his cell phone. But the suspect, realizing the victim was calling police, tried to steal the phone. A struggle ensued until the victim’s cries for help prompted the suspect to abort the attack and flee across the street into a grocery store parking lot. Ingleside officers Labson, Branche, Stucki, Baldovino, Lim, Hauscarriague, and Sgt. Ho responded to the scene and arrested the suspect in the parking lot a short time later. He was taken to Ingleside Station and charged with attempted robbery. The victim declined medical attention. Report number: 160505584

Ingleside officers Naval and Morrow responded to a report of a stabbing. When they arrived on scene they found a woman with a deep stab wound in her arm. The woman told the officers, “He got me, he got me. I need an ambulance”. The officers summoned emergency medical help and the victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital. The victim was highly uncooperative and refused to provide the officers with any additional information about the incident. Report number: 160505318

11:15pm                        2200 Blk. Bayshore Blvd.                         Robbery
A store customer and her accomplice violently attacked two clerks while attempting to steal a couple of bags of chips. The victims told Ingleside officers Villalozano and Wong that a woman clerk caught a woman customer trying to steal the chips. The customer called the woman an “expletive” and the clerk asked a fellow employee to call police. Hearing that request, the customer punched the clerk in the side of her face before walking out of the store being followed by the other store employee. The employee told the customer just drop the chips and leave but instead of doing that, an accomplice attacked the employee with a hammer hitting so hard in the side of the head that the hammer broke. The suspects then escaped south on Bayshore Blvd. The injured employees refused medical attention. Report number: 160507916
