located at 302 Silver Avenue in the Rosenberg Building on Tuesday, March 15,
2016 at 7 p.m. (Enter through the Silver Avenue entrance and check-in with the
security guard at the kiosk). There will be light refreshments available to
those who come to the meeting. All are

11:09pm 400 Blk Madrid Robbery w/Force
A woman walking home was violently assaulted and robbed of her
possessions. The young foreign student told Ingleside Sergeant Turner and Officer
Tien that she was walking eastbound on Persia Street toward her home on Madrid
when she noticed two men approaching her. The men walked past her then turned
and started following her. The victim placed her IPhone 6 in her bag and
hurried down Persia to Madrid, turned the corner toward her home finally reaching
the steps to her residence. When she went up the steps one of the suspects
grabbed her from behind placing his hands over her mouth so she couldn’t
scream. Both suspects then pulled her down the stairs while grabbing the bag
from her hands. She vainly struggled to keep possession of her bag but the two
suspects were stronger. They ripped the bag from her hands and escaped by
running away to a waiting silver SUV. The victim suffered injuries to one of
her knees but refused medical attention. Several Ingleside units scoured the
neighborhood for the suspects without success. The loss was an IPhone 6, a
small amount of cash, student identification, purse, makeup, BART pass, a
personal journal, and a cd containing personal photographs. Report number: 160177973
