An additional 12 turkeys were given, along with all the trimmings, to needy families in the Ingleside District.Arrests:12:35pm Amazon/Paris BurglaryAn alert citizen helped foil a vehicle burglary. While driving on Amazon Avenue with her husband, the woman noticed a man trying to open the back doors of a Postal delivery truck. An accomplice was stationed on a nearby corner as a lookout. The woman called police and Ingleside Officer Archilla responded and found the two suspects inside a vehicle parked nearby. Officer Archilla, with the help of other Ingleside officers, arrested the pair for vehicle burglary. One of the suspects was also wanted on several traffic warrants. Report number: 1510107946:20pm 1900 Blk Sunnydale Evading a Police OfficerA stolen car wanted for evading police was spotted driving eastbound on Geneva Avenue by Ingleside Officers Seavey and Padilla. The two officers, with the assistance of other Ingleside units, attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver ignored the officers’ emergency lights and siren and drove away at a high rate of speed. The suspects drove east on Geneva and then through several intersections in Visitacion Valley without stopping. They collided with a motorist exiting his garage and continued their escape after the collision before colliding with a pole near a housing development on Sunnydale Ave. All four occupants of the vehicle exited the stolen car with the officers in pursuit. All four were quickly apprehended. The driver was arrested for auto theft, reckless driving, evading police, and other crimes. The three juvenile passengers were released into the custody of their parents.
