Ingleside Officers Dominguez and Chew were on routine patrol when they spotted a subject crossing the street against the red light putting himself in danger. The officers tried to stop the man and issue a warning but the jay walker, instead of stopping, took off running down Mission for several blocks with the officers chasing him. He was finally cornered and arrested near the intersection of Amazon and Mission. The suspect was taken to Ingleside Station where a records check revealed an outstanding warrant for his arrest from San Mateo County. He was placed in custody for the warrant. 9:50pm       Unit Blk Oxford                      Robbery
A woman getting into her car was the victim of a violent robbery. She told Ingleside Officers Hoge and Wells that after taking some time to find her car keys, she finally unlocked her car door and put her purse on her lap. As she reached to close the door a suspect ran up and reached in the open car door grabbing her purse. She struggled with the suspect for a short time until he pulled her out of the car and finally gained control of her purse. He joined a second suspect who was standing behind him in the street and both escaped running down Oxford Street. The officers also interviewed a witness who was double-parked behind the victim waiting for her parking space. She told Hoge and Wells that she got out of her car and started chasing the suspects until one of the suspects stopped, turned around and reached for a firearm in his waist, and pointed it at her. She then retreated and returned to the scene of the robbery. The victim was treated at the scene by medical personnel after re-injuring a sprained ankle during the robbery.
