Arrests:
10:03pm 900 Blk Geneva Concealed Weapon A man standing on the sidewalk, with a skateboard, wearing a hoody and surgical mask covering his face caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Der and Hardy. The officers stopped to question the man because he matched the partial description of a robbery suspect from an event last month on Precita Avenue. The officers noticed that the bulky jacket the suspect was wearing had several pockets filled with bulky items. A cursory search turned up a knife with a seven inch blade. A warrant check revealed the man was on probation out of San Mateo County for a burglary conviction. He was also wanted for a traffic warrant out of San Francisco County. He was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for the weapon and the outstanding warrant. Report number: 150781073
Serious Incidents:8:48pm Parque/Carrizal RobberyA report of a fight between a large group of men prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officers Snadow, Hardy, Der, and Wise to investigate. Upon arrival, the officers found the victim suffering from facial lacerations and abrasions. He told the officer he was walking home when he noticed that he was being followed by a group of young men. He started running away but didn’t get far because the group caught up and jumped on his back causing him to fall to the ground. The suspects repeatedly struck him with their fists and feet before removing a cell phone, identification, bank card, and a significant amount of cash from his pockets. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction.
