Serious Incidents:

1:10am       Unit Blk Canyon                     Robbery w/Force
A woman in her home heard the unmistakable sounds of an assault in the street. She looked outside and saw three men, wearing dark clothing, beating someone on the ground. Then, in a frightening development, she heard her brother’s voice yelling, “Please leave me alone”. She dialed 911 then ran downstairs and went outside and found her brother lying unconscious in the street and the three suspects gone. Ingleside Officers Francesci, McMilton, Ferronato, Glenn, Marshall, Wong, and Hardy arrived shortly after the ambulance personnel who were treating the victim for numerous cuts, abrasions, bruises, and other injuries. The victim, who was now barely conscious, related that earlier, he had taken the #43 Muni bus to South Hill. He was walking home when the three unknown men suddenly attacked as he neared his residence. The men started beating him before taking his backpack containing a wallet, ATM card, and other valuables. Officers checked the surrounding area for the suspects but were unable to spot them. The victim was taken to San Francisco General for treatment of his injuries. The attending physician said he may have also suffered a traumatic brain injury from the assault. The case has been turned over to the Ingleside Station Investigative Team. Report number: 150796602
