The
City and County of San Francisco invites you to join a highly respected police
department and serve the citizens of one of the most beautiful cities in the
country. San Francisco Police Officers perform a wide variety of duties to
promote public safety and security, prevent crime and enforce the law. Police
officers perform a number of essential functions. For example, they patrol
districts to prevent and detect crime; respond to calls for assistance; conduct
criminal investigations; interact with the community to build cooperation and
support; pursue and arrest suspects; enforce traffic and parking laws; write
reports and maintain records; work with superiors, peers, and others as a team;
prepare for and participate in planned events; prepare for court and give
testimony; and fulfill other administrative duties when required. This is much

Arrests:
5:14pm Mission/Brazil D.U.I A
citizen called dispatch after spotting a possibly intoxicated motorcyclist,
with a passenger, driving erratically and blowing through several stop lights.
Shortly after the broadcast, Ingleside Officers Calupad and Watts spotted the
motorcyclist driving slowly southbound on Mission Street. The officers turned
on their lights and siren in a futile attempt, for several blocks, to stop the
now slow moving motorcyclist. When the motorcyclist pulled over she had
considerable difficulty finding her license, insurance, and registration. The
officers administered a roadside sobriety test which the cyclist failed. The
suspect agreed to a breath analysis test and was transported to Mission Station
for the blood alcohol assessment. The test revealed a blood alcohol level more
than four times the legal maximum. She was transported to the county jail and
booked for D.U.I. Report number: 150728348
8:00pm Mission/Crescent Stolen Property Ingleside Officers
Snadow and Wise were on routine patrol when they saw a vehicle in front of them
drive around another vehicle by crossing over the double yellow line and
speeding away. Snadow and Wise followed the vehicle while radioing dispatch as
the motorist drove through the neighborhood while ignoring the patrol vehicles
emergency lights and siren. The pursuit continued for a while before ending
when the suspect skidded into the median on the 300 block of Alemany. There was
a short pursuit after the suspect exited the vehicle and tried to run away from
officers. He was placed in custody and the officers searched his car and
clothing finding a punch used to burglarize vehicles and a stolen laptop that
was taken from a parked car on Potrero Hill earlier in the evening. The suspect
was booked at Ingleside Station for auto burglary, possession of stolen
property, driving with a suspended license, possession of burglary tools, and
reckless driving. Report number: 150728887

left his work and started driving home. He noticed a truck following him. The
victim drove onto Alemany Blvd. then onto Highway #280 then back onto Alemany
Blvd. all the while with the truck still following him. The victim suddenly got
a flat tire and pulled to the side of the road near the farmers market and the
truck pulled in behind him. The victim got out of his disabled car and started
running away with two suspects following close behind. The suspects caught up
with the victim and tackled him to the ground. He felt a gun to his head and
the suspects rifled through his pockets and took $350 in cash before running
back to the truck and driving away. Report number: 150727550
