The
City and County of San Francisco invites you to join a highly respected police
department and serve the citizens of one of the most beautiful cities in the
country. San Francisco Police Officers perform a wide variety of duties to
promote public safety and security, prevent crime and enforce the law. Police
officers perform a number of essential functions. For example, they patrol
districts to prevent and detect crime; respond to calls for assistance; conduct
criminal investigations; interact with the community to build cooperation and
support; pursue and arrest suspects; enforce traffic and parking laws; write
reports and maintain records; work with superiors, peers, and others as a team;
prepare for and participate in planned events; prepare for court and give
testimony; and fulfill other administrative duties when required. This is much
more than a job; it is an opportunity to build a career of which you can be
proud.

Arrests:
3:10pm Admiral/Mission Vandalism to Vehicle
A resident tired of people parking in his driveway decided
to invoke a little vigilante justice. The suspect, finding another car in his
driveway, took a hammer and broke the vehicle’s windshield. The suspect told
Ingleside Officers Campos and Thompson that he “lost his temper”. He said he’s
been up since 4 in the morning and many times he finds people parked in his
driveway and when he tells them to move, they yell obscenities at him. He was
cited for vandalism and released at the scene. The victim was driving a rental
car which was parked and was patronizing a nearby business. Report number:

Blk Valencia Robbery
Employees and patrons at a fast food restaurant knew
something was about to go terribly wrong when they observed two masked men,
holding semi-automatic handguns, enter the premises and quickly walk behind the
counters. The men first went to the back of the restaurant and tried to enter
the managers locked office. When they couldn’t enter the suspects returned to
the front of the restaurant, grabbed a cash register, and took the item to a
waiting vehicle in the parking lot. The suspects then escape in an unknown direction
with an indeterminate amount of cash. Report number: 150709956
