Serious Incidents:

2:00pm       Sunnydale/Santos                   Shooting into Occupied Vehicle
In the afternoon hours, a call was received regarding several shots fired. Responding officers were soon flagged down by four occupants that were inside the victim vehicle. They told the Officers Obot and Denning that their vehicle has been shot at while in the area of Sunnydale and Santos Street. A Burgundy vehicle suddenly stopped where two of its occupants drew multiple firearms and began firing at the victims. The front passenger yelled for everyone to get down. Fearing for their safety the victim driver immediately sped away. The rear passenger suffered a minor injury to her eye from the passenger window that had shattered. An ambulance responded and transported the rear passenger to SFGH. Officers observed several bullet holes outside of the vehicle. Officers were able to obtain surveillance footage from the area. Officers canvassed the area for the suspects with negative results. However, the suspect vehicle was later located and towed for further investigation. This case was referred to Special Investigation Team for further investigation. Report Number. 150656636
