He went to investigate and saw two individuals standing at the foot of the interior stairs. He immediately yelled out, “hey”, which startled both suspects. They quickly ran out the home. The victim told Ingleside Officers Curry and Trujillo that he searched the house and found nothing missing. He showed the officers the damage to his front door. The officers determined the front door to be the point of entry and exit. Several units canvassed the area for the suspects and surveillance footage to no avail.
