Arrests:
2:35am       1700 Blk San Jose                           Trespassing                     A bartender was cleaning up after closing when he heard footsteps coming from the crawl space between the ceiling and the roof. He called police and Ingleside Officers Wells, McMilton, Ferronato, Macaulay, Lucia, Hoge, Hardy, Scott, and Franceschi arrived to investigate. The officers setup a perimeter around the building when they heard the bartender yell, “They’re running away”, while pointing to the roof. A few seconds later, Ingleside Officer’s Hoge and Wells could be heard yelling, “Show me your hands and don’t move”. The two officers had corralled two men who had just crawled down from the roof. They were taken to Ingleside Station and booked for trespassing. Report number: 150617600

3:00am       300 Blk Bradford                             Theft                               A woman looked outside and saw a strange woman entering her parked van. She then observed the woman move to the rear of the van while closing all the curtains. The homeowner’s mother then activated the car alarm of a vehicle parked behind the van thinking it would scare the burglar out of the van. It didn’t. The victim then called police and Ingleside Hoge and Wells arrived and ordered the woman out of the van placing her in handcuffs. The thief told the officers that she broke into the van because she and her boyfriend were interested in purchasing the vehicle. She said her boyfriend told her that he knew the owner of the van. The suspect admitted she knew it was wrong to break into the van. She was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for theft and vandalism. Report number: 150617729
