The City and County of San Francisco invites you to join a highly respected police department and serve the citizens of one of the most beautiful cities in the country. For example, they patrol districts to prevent and detect crime; respond to calls for assistance; conduct criminal investigations; interact with the community to build cooperation and support; pursue and arrest suspects; enforce traffic and parking laws; write reports and maintain records; work with superiors, peers, and others as a team; prepare for and participate in planned events; prepare for court and give testimony; and fulfill other administrative duties when required. Arrests:
4:02am       1400 Blk Guerrero       Recovered Vehicle
A car stopped in the street, with the engine running, and the driver asleep at the wheel was the reason dispatch sent Ingleside Officers Grey, Kikuchi, Noble, McMilton, and Sgt. Turner to investigate. When the officers arrived, they found the car still in gear and the ignition on, but without a key. One of the officers maneuvered his patrol car to the front of the suspect’s vehicle to prevent it from driving forward. Sgt. Turner opened the passenger door and woke up the somnambulant driver. He was removed from the vehicle and placed in handcuffs. A computer query revealed the driver had a suspended license and had faced several arrests for auto theft, robbery, burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of firearms, and resisting arrest. He told the officers the car belonged to a friend, but couldn’t remember his friend’s name. The car actually belonged to a Mission resident who was out of state on vacation. The owner told the officers he didn’t know the driver and didn’t give anyone permission to drive his car. A backpack in the car belonging to the suspect contained burglary tools, narcotics, and narcotic paraphernalia. The suspect was transported to Ingleside Station and booked on a variety of felonies. Report Number:  150524726

11:53pm     Russia/London              Warrant
An older Cadillac with expired registration caught the attention of Ingleside Officers McCall and Lozano. The officers pulled the vehicle over and questioned the driver who told Lozano and McCall that he had just purchased the Cadillac and “I don’t have a driver’s license yet”. A records check revealed that not only was the driver unlicensed, but he also had a warrant for his arrest on narcotics charges. He was arrested and taken to Ingleside Station. Report number: 150530795

Serious Incidents:

2:35am       Mission/30th         Agg. Assault
A dispute between Muni passengers resulted in one of the riders being pepper sprayed. The victim told Ingleside Officers Kikuchi and Grey that he was riding on the #14 bus northbound on Mission when an argument broke out between a group of passengers. During the argument, the victim told the young people to get off the bus. Shortly thereafter, on their way to exiting the bus, one of the suspects attacked the victim with pepper spray. The suspects then exited the bus and the driver pulled over and called for assistance. The victim was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Kikuchi and Grey broadcast a description of the suspects and requested surveillance video from Muni security. Report Number:  150527651

7:58pm       Unit Blk Ocean    Robbery
A woman arrived at Ingleside Station to report a robbery. The victim told Ingleside Officer Lundy that she was at a local bank ATM depositing $60 when an unknown man jumped in front of her and said, “you’re done”, and then, while facing the ATM, withdrew $200 from her account before fleeing.  The victim was unsure if she could identify the suspect.  Report Number:  150530717
