Arrests:

6:36pm       Prospect/Eugenia                   D.U.I
A motorist ran a stop sign in front of Ingleside Officers Paras and Denning. The officers stopped the motorist and immediately noticed the permeating smell of alcohol emanating from his car. He was removed from the vehicle and asked to perform several simple roadside sobriety tests. He failed them all. He was taken to Mission Station where a court ordered blood test was administered before he was transported to the County Jail and booked for D.U.I.  Report number: 150405308

Suspicious Incidents

5:28pm       Persia/Madrid                        Robbery
A woman waiting for a bus was robbed of a large amount of cash and other valuables. The victim walked into Ingleside Station and told Officer Kerlegan that, while waiting for the #29 MUNI bus, she noticed a man standing in front of her. All of a sudden, the man grabbed her purse but the victim refused to let go. So, the suspect pulled so hard the woman fell to the ground and, while hanging on to her purse, was dragged down the sidewalk until she finally relinquished control of the purse. The robber then ran to a waiting double parked vehicle that sped away. The loss was $4000 in cash, an IPhone, and three credit cards. Report number: 150404974

10:07pm     Geneva/Mission                     Aggravated Assault
A group of young men who were “play fighting” suddenly changed into something much more serious when the play punches turned into real punches and one of the group took out a pistol and shot two other men. One of the young victims was shot in the neck and was found at Geneva and Mission. The other victim suffered wounds to his arm and thigh and ran east to Napes and Geneva before being found by police. Both were transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of their serious wounds. The suspects escaped and the Ingleside Investigative Team along with Crime Scene Investigators interviewed witnesses and searched through surrounding business video recordings for clues to the suspect or suspects in the crime. Report number: 150405643
