Arrests:

7:05pm       50 Phelan Ave               Possession of Air Gun
Officers Denning and Paras responded with their Red lights and siren to a call of a student with a gun at the City College Campus at 50 Phelan Avenue. As they arrived they met with officer Mora and City College Police who had the subject already in custody. They spoke to several students and a teacher, who said while class was in session the subject walked into the class and put a box with an image of a gun on a chair for students to see. Several students including the teacher became concerned and immediately rushed out of the classroom and called the police. The officers searched the subject and his belongings and found an airsoft gun inside the box. The officers seized the airsoft gun and cited the subject for possession of an air gun. A man standing out in front of his house soon became a victim of a stabbing: The victim told Officers Klaib and Trujillo that he was standing in front of his house when he noticed a stranger standing on the corner staring intently at him. The victim told the officers that he said something to the subject which prompted the stranger to walk towards the victim. A verbal confrontation ensued which resulted in the suspect stabbing the victim with a screwdriver. The suspect then fled the area with the victim in pursuit. After a short distance, the victim was unable to catch up to the suspect. The victim went back to his house where he called the police. Officers Klaib and Trujillo searched the area to no avail, but did find a surveillance camera that captured the incident. Report Number: 150434943
