City and County of San Francisco invites you to join a highly respected police
department and serve the citizens of one of the most beautiful cities in the

promote public safety and security, prevent crime and enforce the law. Police
officers perform a number of essential functions. For example, they patrol
districts to prevent and detect crime; respond to calls for assistance; conduct
criminal investigations; interact with the community to build cooperation and
support; pursue and arrest suspects; enforce traffic and parking laws; write
reports and maintain records; work with superiors, peers, and others as a team;
prepare for and participate in planned events; prepare for court and give

10:11pm Maynard/Mission Warrant Arrest
Ingleside Sgt. Ly and Officer Denning were on routine patrol
when they spotted a vehicle associated with several “grab and run” crimes of
high end stores in Palo Alto. The officers asked for backup and, with the help
of additional Ingleside units, stopped the car near Maynard and Mission
Streets. One of the two occupants, the driver, was an unlicensed juvenile. The
other occupant was a San Francisco resident wanted by the Palo Alto police
department for those thefts. He was arrested and taken to Ingleside Station
pending transportation to Palo Alto. The juvenile was cited for driving without
a license and released to an adult relative. Report number: 150424609

Blk Mission Robbery
Four suspects, three men and a woman, walked into a store intent
on obtaining some electronic items without paying for them. The store manager
and his employee noticed three of the suspects inspecting several high end cell
phones and tablets. When the employees asked if they could help, the suspects
took out tools and began removing the security cords holding the tablets to the
display cases. The victim’s called police but not before the suspects escaped
with three late model cell phones and a new tablet. Ingleside Officers Ellston,
Navin, Parker, Hornstein, Watts, and Calupad responded to the scene to gather
evidence, interview victims and witnesses, and search the surrounding
neighborhood for the suspects. Report number: 150423883
