Arrests:

Blk Cortland Stolen
Vehicle
Sergeant Dare was on routine patrol headed up Cortland
Avenue from Mission when he noticed a Honda Civic whipping around a corner as
it made a right turn without stopping at the posted stop sign. Sgt. Dare was
ready to go after the driver when a Chevrolet SUV suddenly appeared and began
waiving the sergeant down. The driver of the SUV explained that the driver of
the Honda had just collided with him and was fleeing the scene. Sgt. Dare
pursued the Honda and pulled him over a couple blocks away. The driver, not
intent on waiting, got out of the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. Sgt.
Dare, who was by himself, managed to go after the suspect and took him into
custody. Officer Trujillo arrived, soon after, and assisted in the investigation.
During the investigation Officer Trujillo informed Sgt. Dare that he just
recently arrested the same subject for auto burglary earlier in the month.
After a computer inquiry was done on the Honda, it was revealed that it had
been reported as stolen vehicle. Inside the vehicle were various tools commonly
used to break into cars. The suspect was taken back to Ingleside Station and
charged for the hit and run, stolen vehicle and being in possession of stolen
property. Report Number: 150251214

and took one of the two skateboards he had. A second suspect proceeded to take
the second skateboard and proceeded to search through the victim’s pockets
taking $50 dollars. When the bus arrived, all five suspect boarded the bus. The
victim boarded the bus at the other end and kept an eye on the suspects as he
