Arrests:

10:30pm     Sickles/Mission                       Drugs/Weapons
A new Chevrolet Camaro going 15 mph on Mission Street, with its hazard lights flashing, caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Williams, Lucia, and Hackard. The officers activated their emergency lights and siren and the Camaro driver pulled into a nearby convenience store parking lot and stopped. The officers smelled the familiar odor of marijuana wafting from inside the vehicle after the driver rolled down the windows. He didn’t have a medical marijuana card but he was licensed to drive. A computer check revealed a San Francisco arrest history with a previous narcotics conviction. Inside the vehicle the officers found several baggies and a glass jar of marijuana as well as baggies of cocaine packaged for sale. They also found a Beretta pellet pistol with the orange tip removed. The orange tip denotes that the pistol is not a firearm but instead, a pellet gun. The gun was loaded with a magazine containing several pellets. The officers also confiscated more than $900 in cash and two cell phones. The suspect was taken to Ingleside Station and booked on several narcotics and weapons charges. Report number: 150068724

Serious Incidents

5:30pm       500 Blk Campbell                  Armed Robbery
A man parked his car and was walking down the street when he was approached by two armed robbers. The victim told Ingleside Officers Paras, Ha, and Archilla that the suspects got out of a double parked Mercury van, ran up behind him, with guns drawn. The suspects pushed the victim into a nearby wall with one putting a gun to his neck and the other gun to his hip. One of the robbers then told the victim, “Give me your stuff or I’m going to kill you”. The victim surrendered his cell phone, cash, and a leather bag and the suspects jumped back into the van and sped away. Report number: 150068116

6:20pm       Bronte/Jarboe                        Attempted Robbery
Possibly the same suspects driving the same van attempted another robbery. The victim told Ingleside Officers Alday and Imsand that she was walking home from work when she heard footsteps of someone running behind her. She started to turn around when she felt someone tugging at her backpack. The suspect said, “Give me your backpack”.  The victim started screaming for help and the suspect, possibly fearing neighbors would hear her screams, abandoned the robbery and ran away to a waiting Mercury van. The victim refused medical attention. The Ingleside Station Investigative Team has been assigned the two cases. Report number: 150068150

6:30pm       Cayuga/Theresa                         Armed Robbery
A woman walking home from the Balboa BART Station was robbed of her belongings. The victim told Ingleside Officers Cuenca and Bryant that she was looking down at her phone when two men ran up behind her. One of the robbers asked for her phone and the other demanded her purse. Fearing for her safety she relinquished her property. The loss was wallet, keys, and other valuables along with her phone. Report number: 150068489

10:46pm     1700 Blk Sunnydale                  Aggravated Assault
Ingleside Officers Bernal and Naser were on routine patrol when they heard approximately 15 gunshots in the area. They notified dispatch and requested additional units respond to the area. Dispatch notified all units that the “Shot spotter” system recorded 17 gunshots in the vicinity of the 1700 block of Sunnydale. When the officers arrived at that location they found a wounded man lying in the street. An ambulance soon arrived and the victim was taken to San Francisco General where he is being treated for fourteen gunshot wounds.  The officers interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence before turning the investigation over to the Ingleside Station Investigative Team and other specialized units of the department.
