They will return to the victim what is believed to be their valuables. They will ask the victim not to look at their valuables for a day.  When the victim later checks their valuables, they find that the valuables were not returned by the suspects.

Arrests:

4:00pm       Bayshore/Tunnel                    Assault
Officers Burke and Imhoff responded to a call of a fight taking place on board a MUNI bus. While en-route, dispatch advised the officers that a suspect was armed with a bottle and was attacking a female victim. Several Ingleside units responded and located both parties involved around the corner at Bayshore and Tunnel Avenue. The units noticed that the suspect was heavily intoxicated and found the bottle on the ground next to him. The victim said she was riding the bus when she noticed the suspect staring intently at her. The victim was bothered by this and asked the suspect what he was staring at. The suspect quickly got out of his seat and approached the victim yelling profanities and racial slurs and proceeded to spit on her. The victim spit back but was attacked and punched several times in the face.  The victim was able to get away from the suspect and moved from the back to the front of the bus. The suspect then picked up a bottle and followed the victim trying to attack her again and broke one of the MUNI windows in the process. The victim was able to get off the bus, but the suspect kept coming after her. The officers soon arrived and were able to take the suspect into custody. Medics were called out to the scene to treat the victim. The suspect was booked on several charges including assault, threats, vandalism as well as an outstanding warrant. Report Number: 130625037

11:08pm     Rolph/Seville                           Stolen Vehicle
Ingleside Officers Morse and Pan were in the area of Rolph and Seville on an unrelated call when they observed a Green Honda Civic travelling at a high rate of speed. This vehicle came to an abrupt stop at this same intersection. The driver hesitated for approximately three seconds, and then drove in reverse for about five feet. The vehicle stopped again and took off at a high rate of speed. Seeing this, the officers quickly ran the license plates in their computer, which showed the vehicle to be a stolen car. The officers tried to get behind the vehicle to perform a felony stop but, the vehicle refused to comply and continued at a high rate of speed. Showing a total disregard for public safety, the officers decided it was not safe to chase after the vehicle. The officers then drove down Geneva Avenue, several minutes later,  and saw that the same Green Honda Civic was now involved in a collision with several parked vehicles. They also saw the driver crawling out of the vehicle and trying to make his escape on foot. This time the officers were not going to let him escape, so they to, jumped out of their patrol vehicle and the foot chase was on. The suspect could not shake the officers, who were right behind him, and immediately gave up. He was immediately taken into custody. The suspect was booked on a long list of felony charges.
