Arrests:

1:39pm       800 Blk London           Narcotics
Officers Yuen and Archilla were on patrol in a marked vehicle when they observed a male driving a scooter recklessly fail to stop for an arterial stop sign.  They detained the driver of the scooter for the violation.  A record check revealed the suspect to have an outstanding warrant.  He was transported to Ingleside Station pending further investigation.  An arrest search located a clear plastic baggie containing a white crystalline substance, believed to be methamphetamine.  A presumptive test of the substance was positive for methamphetamine, the warrant was confirmed and the suspect was booked.  Report Number 130411717

2:56pm       4500 Blk Mission          Resisting
Officers To and Goldsborough responded to the call of a fight.  They met with the reportee who said he called the police because a male was causing a disturbance in his establishment and he wanted him removed.  The officers entered the premises where they observed a male with an unsteady gait and slurred speech throwing things around.  The suspect was noncompliant but the officers were able to handcuff him.  They could smell a strong odor of alcohol on his person as the suspect yelled obscenities at those around him and he was taken into custody.  At the instruction of Sgt. Karp, the suspect was booked for resisting arrest and being under the influence of alcohol in a public place.  Report Number 130412072

3:49pm       Alemany/Foote              False Registration
Officers Hart and Phillips were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with a failed stop lamp.  They affected a traffic stop and identified the driver by her California Identification Card.  A record check revealed the driver did not have a driver’s license.  An additional record check on the license plate of the vehicle revealed the wrong plate was attached to the vehicle.  The officer’s found that the owner of the vehicle (who was the passenger) switched license plates with another vehicle that belonged to him because the registration on the vehicle in question was expired.  The driver of the vehicle was cited for driving on a suspended license, the passenger was cited for false registration on the plate, and the vehicle was released to a licensed driver at the owner’s request.  Report Number 130412232

7:27pm       5200 Blk Mission          Narcotics
Officers Archilla and Yuen were conducting passing calls in an area where there had been numerous complaints by neighbors and merchants regarding double parking and possible narcotics activity.  The officers observed a parked vehicle which was blocking two driveways.  They made contact with the occupants of the vehicle and requested proper identification.  A record check revealed the passenger was on active probation.  The occupants were escorted out of the vehicle and a probation search located several plastic baggies containing a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine.  At the instruction of Sgt. Martin, the suspects were transported to Ingleside station pending further investigation.  The vehicle was driven to the station for a more thorough search.  A canine unit was called to the scene and the canine dog was able to alert the canine officer to the floorboard area of the vehicle where additional baggies were located containing a similar white substance.   An arrest search located a large amount of currency on one of the suspects and all substances in the baggies tested positive for methamphetamine.  Both suspects were booked at Ingleside station.  The narcotics were hand delivered to the Narcotics Drop Box at the Hall of Justice.  Report Number 130412715

Serious Incidents:

0:05am       Mission/Theresa            Battery
Officers Zerga and Gabriel were dispatched to a battery.  They met with the victim who told them that he was walking down Mission Street when two males approached him and, without provocation, repeatedly punched him in the face and head.  The victim suffered a laceration to his eye and an ambulance was summoned to the scene to treat him.  The suspect said the victims ran down Theresa and does not believe he could identify them.  He provided the officers with a description of the suspects and officers searched the area for them to no avail.  The victim was transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.  Officers were unable to locate surveillance cameras in the area.  They took pictures of the victim’s injuries which they booked as evidence.  Report Number 130410509

10:49pm     900 Blk Chenery           Robbery w/gun
Officers Khan and several other Ingleside officers responded to assist the victim of a robbery.  The victim told them that she was walking on Chenery when a male approached her, produced a handgun, and told her to “give him everything.”  The victim began to scream and the suspect punched her in the head, causing her to fall to the ground.  The suspect then grabbed her purse, ran down the street and boarded a black vehicle.  The victim refused medical attention and said that she could not identify the suspect as she did not get a good look at him.  Officers aggressively searched the area for the suspect and the vehicle with negative results.

The victim later called dispatch to advise that transactions had been made on her bank card.  Officers Phillips and Hart were in the area where the transactions had occurred and detained a possible suspect vehicle which matched the description provided by the victim earlier.  The victim was transported to the area where the occupants of the vehicle were detained, but was unable to identify them or the vehicle as having been involved in the robbery.  Report Number 130413274
