2:35am Madison/Silver Stolen Vehicle
Officers Padilla and Seavey were on routine patrol when they saw the driver of a Blue Acura 2.5 TL fail to come to a complete stop at a posted stop sign. The officers proceeded to stop the vehicle for the traffic violation. When both officers approached the car, they could see that there was no key in the ignition and the ignition looked as if it was tampered with. The officers also saw a thin metal object with tape wrapped around it lying of the floor board. Believing the vehicle was stolen, the officers detained all three occupants, and sent a unit to the owners address. An Ingleside Unit responded to the address where a family member provided a contact number for the owner. Officer Seavey called the phone number and spoke to the actual owner of the vehicle who said the vehicle was left parked near Majestic and Lakeview Avenue by his son earlier in the day and that no one else should be driving it. Officer Seavey provided the names of all the occupants and the owner advised he did not know any of the names. The driver was transported to Ingleside station where he was interviewed. The driver admitted to taking the vehicle and using the metal object to start the vehicle. The driver was subsequently booked on numerous charges including possession of stolen property and burglary tools. The passengers were released from the scene and the vehicle was towed. 4:36pm 1100 Blk Crescent Drug Arrest
Officers Campos, Burke and Sgt Alvarez were on patrol when they observed a subject washing a large Penske moving van inside a public lot locate in the area of Crescent and Putnam Street. The officers went to speak with this subject and found out that he was on active probation with a search condition. Officer Campos exercised the search condition and searched the subject finding methamphetamine, heroin, and Marijuana on his person. The subject was placed under arrest and taken to Ingleside Station. Officer Campos tested the drugs which revealed positive for methamphetamine and heroin. The subject was charged and booked accordingly. Report Number 130076719.

3:28pm 1800 Blk Sunnydale Assault
Officers McCall and Ferronato responded to the 1800 block of Sunnydale Avenue on multiple calls of shots being fired. Several Ingleside units as well as Bayview units responded to the area as well. The units searched the area and found a victim who had been shot in his left thigh. Medics arrived and transported the victim to the hospital. The units also found spent casings on the street close to where the victim had been shot. Officer Ferronato went to the hospital and spoke with the victim, who said he was coming home from work when he noticed a car drive by, make a U-turn, and drive back and without warning the driver opened fire. The victim said he has no problems with anyone and believes it is most likely a case of mistaken identity. The victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury. Report Number 130075238.
2:00pm Geneva/San Jose Robbery
Officers Lockett and Kerlegan went to the South San Francisco Kaiser Hospital to investigate a robbery that occurred in the area of Geneva and San Jose Avenue. The victim said he just got off BART and was standing on the Northwest side of Geneva and San Jose when an unknown suspect approached him and attacked him for no reason by punching him numerous times on the face. The victim said he tried to defend himself but three female suspects joined in and went through his pockets and took his cell phone. After taking the victims phone, all the suspects ran away headed Eastbound on Geneva Avenue. The victim said he went to a family member’s house but that after he arrived his face started hurting so he went to the hospital to get treated. Report Number 130077187.

3:31am 300 Blk Sussex Burglary: Suspect 1: Black male, 30 to 40 years of age, wearing a tan jacket, pencil thin mustache and has short hair. Suspect 2: Unknown male, wearing a white or light colored hooded sweatshirt.
