2:03am Mission/Russia Vandalism
Officers Hermosura and Ma were on patrol when they were flagged down by a MUNI bus driver regarding a vandalism incident. The bus driver pointed to a female suspect who was running. The officers immediately chased the suspect down and caught her. The bus driver told the officers that the suspect exited his bus and jumped onto the front bike racks and began spray painting the window areas. The bus driver positively identified the woman detained as the suspect who had vandalized the bus. The officers found aerosol spray paint cans in her bag and several cans near the area where she was stopped. The officers took pictures of the damage to the bus and the spray paint cans which were booked into evidence. The suspect was booked for the vandalism. Officers ordered a copy of the MUNI surveillance video as evidence. Report Number 120856167

A victim responded to Ingleside station and told Police Services Aide Zabarte that he was walking on Mission Street when four male suspects approached him, told him to give them his money and blocked his path. When the victim refused to give them his money one of the suspects punched him in the face and cut his lip. The other suspects proceeded to search through his pockets and take various items from him. The suspects then fled the area in an unknown direction. The victim refused medical assistance and said that he would not be able to recognize the suspects. Report Number 120853743
