Arrests:

9:00am               200 Blk Rutland St              Burglary
Officers Turner and Trujillo in addition to several other officers responded to a home invasion robbery.  Several suspects entered a residence with the occupants in the home.  The suspects were apprehended.  Report 110647299

12:56pm             2600 Geneva Ave                Vandalism
Officers Hopkins and Uang were on duty inside a business when they were alerted by a witness that a suspect had vandalized their patrol car.  The witness led the officers outside where they found the windshield of the patrol car had been smashed.  The officers located the suspect and took him into custody.  They also located the object the suspect used to smash the window.  Report 110647910

7:06pm               Mission & Onondaga St      Battery
Officers Park and Chang were dispatched to a report of a fight in progress.  The victim had visible injuries to his face.  He said the suspect pushed the victim to the ground and kicked him in the mouth.  The suspect was cited for battery.  Report 110648770

2:00am               Unit Blk Surrey St                Burglary
CPSA’s Callaghan, Lee and Reynolds and Officer Fung were responded to a report of a burglary.  The victim stored his bicycle in his garage, and secured it.  The victim returned to his residence and discovered pry marks on the door and the lock damaged.  His bicycle was missing.  Report 110648156

2:35am               500 Blk Carter St                 Graffiti
Officers Frisk and Shokair were dispatched to a report of graffiti.  A witness saw three suspects spray painting on a concrete wall located on a vacant lot.  The officers were unable to determine who owned the lot.  Report 110647017

3:48am               Geneva & Naples St            Robbery
Officer Kneuker responded to a report of a robbery with force.  The two victims were walking to their vehicle when a group of six suspects rushed the female victim.  One suspect grabbed the victim’s purse.  The victim fled to a nearby business to get help.  The second victim had several injuries and was bleeding from his head and face.  The second victim could not remember what happened.  He was transported to the hospital.  Report 110646912

CPSA Navarro took a report regarding vandalism to her vehicle.  The victim discovered that the rear windshield of her vehicle had been smashed sometime during the night.  Report 110647998
