Sgt. Escobar was on patrol when he saw a subject that matched the description of an outstanding suspect. Sgt. Escobar contacted the subject and a records check revealed that he had outstanding warrants. Report 110282312
5:10pm 200 Blk Ney St Warrant Arrest
Officers Gonzalez and Pereira were dispatched regarding a vehicle that was possibly involved in a crime. While en route to the location, the officers spotted the vehicle and affected a traffic stop. The officers made contact with the subjects and upon further investigation determined that they were not involved in any crime. However, a records check of the male driver revealed he had a suspended license and an outstanding warrant. Report 110283859
9:00pm Unit Blk Cortland Ave Warrant Arrest
Officers Burke and McMilton were on patrol when they were informed that an anonymous citizen wanted to report a suspicious male looking into buildings. The officers searched the area for the suspect and located him on Cortland Ave. Upon seeing the officers, the suspect began to quickly walk away from them. The officers made contact with the suspect and a records check revealed that he had outstanding warrants. The suspect was also in possession of shaved keys, tools that are often used in auto thefts. 6:30am 500 Blk Cortland Ave Vandalism
Officer Campion-Healy responded to a report of a vandalism. The victim stated there are three locks on the doors of his business. He arrived to open the business and discovered the locks had glue in them, which prevented him the locks from working. Report 110282851
3:30pm 30th/Dolores St Fraudulent Trick
PSA Flynn took a counter report regarding a fraudulent trick. The victim stated he was approached by two suspects who told them that they had won the lottery. The female suspect told the victim that she was not a citizen and therefore could not cash the winning ticket in. She told him that if he cashed the ticket in for her, she would give him a portion of the winnings. The male suspect suggested that each of them put up $15,000 as a good faith gesture and that they would all share in the overall winnings. The victim told them that he could not get that much. The victim went to a bank and withdrew $1,000, which he gave to the female suspect. The suspects then drove the victim to the store so he could buy stamps to mail in the lottery ticket. The suspects waited outside in the car. When the victim emerged, the suspects were gone. Report 110284374
5:30pm Unit Blk Hollywood Court Burglary
Officer Gomez was dispatched to a call regarding a burglary. The victim stated she returned home and found her garage door open. She said that she had locked all of the doors and closed the garage when she had left earlier that morning. Several items were missing from the home. Report 110284261
8:11pm 3200 Blk Mission St Fire
Officers Burke on-viewed a working fire at a building. Numerous officers responded to the scene along with SFFD. Several residents of the building had to be evacuated for safety reasons. The fire was extinguished without any residents being injured. An investigation revealed that a resident had left a burning cigarette on his balcony while he went to go take a shower. The cigarette subsequently caught the balcony on fire. Report 110281342

Officers Hom and Gomez were dispatched to a working fire. The fire was at an unoccupied residence and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Report 110284744
