01:07 pm       Sunnydale/Schwerin           Marijuana/Parole Viol
Lt Vintero conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle he observed with a registration violation.  The lieutenant found that the driver had a suspended license and was in possession of a quantity of marijuana that was packaged for sales.  The driver was also on parole.  The driver was taken into custody and booked at Ingleside Station.  Report number 110010408

Officers Burke and Tam observed a driver commit a traffic offense and therefore conducted a traffic stop.  The officers contacted the driver and passengers in the vehicle and found a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle.  One party in the vehicle admitted that he was in possession of marijuana.  The officers took custody of the subject.  A female passenger in the vehicle struck one of the officers after failing to comply with his lawful commands.  She was taken into custody and was found to be in possession of marijuana as well.  The driver was cited for the traffic offense and two of the passengers were cited and released as well.  Report number 110011155

Officers Leong and Conceicao responded to a battery call at a grocery store.  The officers saw employees of the store escorting a handcuffed female adult to the rear of the store.  The suspect was yelling, swearing and physically resisting the employees.  Another woman was seen attempting to get the employees to release the suspect by pulling on the suspects arms.  The officers were able to separate the suspect and the other woman by detaining and handcuffing the second suspect.  The officers then found out that the suspect had struck the store manager after he escorted her out of the store for bringing a non-service dog into the store.   The woman was belligerent with him and then struck him several times before security was able to get her into handcuffs.  The manager informed the officers that the woman has been escorted off of the property previously for the same offense.  The victim signed a citizens’ arrest for the suspect and the officers took custody of her.  She was cited and released.  The other woman was released also.  Report number 110011412

Officers Hurwitz and Daggett observed a man urinating in public in the corner of a residential garage.  The officers contacted the man and found that he was on probation with a search condition.  The officers exercised the search condition and searched the subjects home.  The officers found that there were two guns in the home with accessible ammunition.  The subjects father returned to the home and told the officers that the weapons were his and that he did not know his son could not have access to the weapons.  The father removed the weapons from his home to store elsewhere.  The subject was cited for urinating in public and released.  Report number 110011713

Officer Castillo responded to a multi-unit residence and spoke with one of the residents who stated that he found his locked bedroom door damaged and the locked bathroom had been forced open.  Other than the damage, no loss was discovered.  Report number 110011707

PSA Cato was contacted at Ingleside Station by a man who reported that his bicycle was stolen from the shared garage area of his home.  Report number 110012216
