12:57 pm Ankeny/Holyoke Assault
Officers Park and Chang were sent to investigate an assault incident. The victim told the officers that a known suspect had assaulted him. the victim told the officers that the suspect and him got into a heated argument over a DVD. The suspect tried to snatch the DVD out of the victims’ hand. The suspect struck the victim on the face causing a scratch. The victim called the police. The suspect was arrested and booked at Ingleside station. Report number 110079852
1:33 pm 50 Phelan Warrant Arrest/cite
SFCCPD Officer Wendt was sent to SF General Hospital where officers Burlyga and Bermudez had been waiting for the medical release of a prisoner they had. The suspect was being admitted to the hospital so the officers, now had to issue a citation and release the suspect to the custody of the Sheriffs. Report number 110077088
1:50 pm 500 blk Prentiss Battery
Officers Altamirano and Thompson were sent to investigate a battery case. The victim told the officers that the known suspect and her got into an argument that led to a pushing match. The victim told the officers that the suspect pushed first. The suspect was arrested and booked. Report number 110080138
5:42 pm Naples/Italy Drug Arrest
Officers Almaguer and Hauscarriague were on patrol when they observed a known suspect to them that had an outstanding warrant for drug possession. The officers requested a female officer to better search the suspect that was now in custody. Officers Hurwitz and Daggett responded to assist. The officers located a box containing methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was booked for the warrant and possession for sales of drugs. Report number 110081073
8:29 pm Mission/Geneva Warrant/Robbery
Officers Hom and Cassinelli were conducting the MUNI bus fare payment and Bus Inspection Program. The officers were on the bus when they noticed a female that looked familiar to them. The officers requested to see her transfer, then asked her for her ID. The female gave them a name, while officer Hom checked a photo he had of a wanted suspect with a NO BAIL warrant. The female gave the officers a different name than hers. Officer Hom showed the female the picture he had. The, now, suspect said "how did you get my picture? OK, that’s me". The officers transported the suspect to Ingleside station where Sgt O’Brien of the S.I.T. team conducted a taped interview. Sgt O’Brien had been assigned a robbery case and had photos of the suspect. The suspect happened to be the one that Officers Hom and Cassinelli were bringing in. Sgt O’Brien was able to get a confession to the robbery from the suspect! The suspect was booked on all charges. Through team work another robbery suspect from the Ingleside is in jail. Report number 101186038. This is the "Best Arrest of the Day"
8:32 pm Ellsworth/Crescent Drug Arrest
Officers Uang, Hopkins and Hart were on patrol when they noticed that a vehicle driving by had tinted window darker that allowed by law (26708a1 cvc). The officers stopped the vehicle and discovered that the driver had an outstanding warrant for drug possession. The officers arrested the driver for the warrant. The officers conducted a search of the vehicle and found more drugs in the trunk. The suspect was also charged with this. Report number 110081738

8:40 am Unit blk Arbor Threats
Officers Campion-Healy and Frisk were sent to investigate a threats incident. The victim told the officers that he was in front of his house when he noticed an unknown suspect walk in front of his neighbor’s house and grab a bag. The victim asked the suspect if the bag was his. The suspect told the victim to mind his own business. The victim insisted and asked the suspect again if the bag was his. The suspect at this point got angry and started charging towards the victim. The victim started yelling "Police, someone call the police" the suspect dropped the bag and hurriedly walked off. The victim followed and watched the suspect to the point where the suspect turned ant told the victim that he was going to kill him. The suspect is described as an African American male, 5’8, 150 lbs, 38 to 40. The suspect was last seen wearing a green beanie cap, green and white checkered shirt and baggy green pants. The suspect also had GOLD teeth. Report number 110079197
9:00 am 50 Phelan Theft
SFCCPD Officer Boyko was sent to investigate a theft case. the victim told the officer that he locked his backpack in a locker. The victim told the officer that he put a padlock on the locker. The victim said that when he returned from his class the locker was open and his backpack and lock were missing. No suspects were observed. Report number 110079391
9:30 am Brunswick/Pope Vandalism
Officers Gonzalez and Archilla were sent to investigate a vandalism incident. The victim told the officers that he parked and locked his car only to discover that someone had broken his windows. The victim told the officers that no suspects were seen. Report number 110082231
9:30 pm 1800 blk Castro Burglary
SFPD Reserve Officer Martinez was sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officer that she had left her apartment for six months. The victim told the officer that she had left some clothing boxed to be donated upon her return. The victim told the officer that when she came back she noticed that someone had removed clothing and changed her mattress! The officer could not locate any forced entry. Since there was no evidence CSI was not notified. Report number 110079090
9:42 am 200 blk Dublin Threatening calls
Officers Bernard and Johnson were sent to investigate a threats incident. The victim told the officers that a known suspect has been sending threatening text messages. The victim told the officers that one of the messages was a death threat. Report number 110079363
12:00 pm 600 blk Velasco Fraud
Officer Gamble of southern station prepared a report regarding a fraud. The victim told the officer that a known suspect withdrew money from his account without permission. The victim wanted the incident documented. Report number 110057983
1:45 pm 300 blk Bradford Dog Bite/Attack
Officers Bernard and Johnson were sent to investigate a dog complaint. The victim told the officers that she was walking with her dog in her arms when she saw two other dogs that were on leashes. The victim told the officers that her dog jumped out of her arms and towards one of the other dogs. The victim said that the "big white dog" grabbed her smaller dog and began to thrash it around while the victim and her husband tried to get the dog to let go. The big white dog let go of the victims’ dog and the female suspect that was walking the dogs said that she would return. The woman never returned! The victims dog had been killed by the other dog. The officers had to call an ambulance for the victim who was not feeling too well. There were witnesses that came forward and gave their account of the incident to the officers. 4:29 pm Ingleside Station Firearm turned in
Police Services Aide Cato prepared a report regarding a firearm that was turned in by someone. The resident turned in an AR15 (the lower portion). The resident told the PSA that he had turned in the other portion of the weapon and did not realize this part was still in his possession. The resident wanted to make sure he turned everything in. report number 110080627
11:00 pm 300 Blk 30th St Attempted Burglary
Officers Kabanuck and Castillo were sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that he left his home today and locked it. The victim said that upon his return he discovered damage on the front door. The victim told the officers that entry had not been gained. Report number 110081716
