Arrests:

12:16 am       Mission/Sickles                   DUI/Suspended Lic
Officers McCall and Lozano responded to a call of an intoxicated person driving.  The officers located the vehicle driving on Mission St and conducted a traffic stop.  The driver was found to be heavily intoxicated and was unable to perform the Field Sobriety Tests.  The suspect was also driving with a suspended license. The officers took the suspect into custody and booked him at County Jail.  Report number 100917892

07:35 pm       Unit blk Theresa                 DUI/ Cocaine/Hit & Run
Officers Pereira and Gomez responded to a vehicle collision and heard that the driver had fled the scene and was being pursued by a witness.  The officers located the suspect and detained him.  The witness was also located.  The officers observed that the suspect exhibited signs of intoxication and the suspect admitted to having consumed several alcoholic beverages.  The officers had the suspect perform the Field Sobriety test which he did not complete satisfactorily.  The suspect was placed under arrest.  The suspect was found to be in possession of cocaine powder as well.  The suspect was taken to County Jail where he was booked.  Report number 100919939

12:45 am       3700 blk Mission                 Unlicensed Driver/Cocaine
Officers Hermosura and Contreras observed a vehicle driving without headlights and conducted a traffic stop.  The officers contacted the occupants and found that the driver did not have a drivers license or any form of valid identification.  The passenger had an open container of alcohol on his lap.  The passenger was cited and released at the scene.  The driver was taken to Ingleside Station where his identify was verified and found to be different from the name he had previously given the officers.  A search of the suspect revealed that he possessed 48 individually packaged “rocks” of cocaine.  The suspect was booked at Ingleside Station.  Report number 100920607

12:15 am       400 blk Hanover                 Battery w/Serious Injury
A man reported to Officers Ma and Seavey that he and his adult step-son had a physical fight and that the suspect had fled the area in his car.  The victim had a laceration on the bridge of his nose. Officers searched for the suspect to no avail.  The victim was treated at an area hospital.  Report number 100917995

03:30 am       Unit blk Ocean        Battery/Vandalism to Property
Officers Hermosura and Contreras responded to a possible hot prowl burglary call and met with the caller.  The caller stated that it sounded like someone was breaking into a lower unit and directed the officers to a side entrance.  The officers found the door broken, but locked.  They entered the home and found the female resident who told them that a male friend was over and was high on methamphetamine.  The suspect battered her and when she attempted to call for the police he ripped the phone from the wall.  The suspect then fled the house, breaking the door when he left.  The victim was not injured.  The officers searched for the suspect to no avail.  Report number 100918254

Officers Khan and Ferronato responded to a vandalism call.  The officers met with the victim who stated that he saw an Asian male, 18-25 years old, in a black windbreaker jacket, crouching behind his vehicle.  The victim turned on an outside light and the suspect fled on foot.  The victim then saw that both side rear view mirrors were pulled off, two tires were punctured and that the rear license plate on the vehicle had been removed.  The officers searched for the suspect to no avail.  Report number 100918248

Officers Jones and Morse responded to a shots fired call and found a vehicle and a residence damaged, but no injuries.  The owner of the vehicle was not available, but the residents of the unit were home and asleep when the shots entered their home.  The couple and their young child were unharmed.  No witnesses were located.  Report number 100918282

Officer Muro responded to a broken window call and found that a window was broken.  Officers Muro and Najarro conducted a walk-through of the building.  SFFD responded and secured the opening and the property manager was later contacted regarding this incident.  Report number 100918351

A store manager called for the police to report a broken window.  Officer Johnson responded to the scene and found that no entry was made and no merchandise had been stolen.  Report number 100918646

01:30 pm       400 blk Hearst                     Vandalism to Vehicle
PSA Knuckles was approached at Ingleside Station by a woman who told him that and unknown suspect had vandalized her vehicle several times with red writing.  The vandalism washed off, but due to the repetitive incidents she wanted the crimes documented.  Report number 100919177

Sgt. McDevitt was flagged down by a victim who told him that an unknown suspect had stolen the catalytic converter from his vehicle while it was parked and unattended overnight.  Report number 100919525
