05:04 pm 1800 blk Sunnydale Robbery Arrest
Officers Dudley and Antonian were on patrol when they observed a robbery suspect who had been identified by the victim. The officers detained the suspect and contacted the station investigator handling the case. Sgt Cunningham advised the officers to take the suspect into custody and transport him to the station. The suspect later booked at the Juvenile Justice Center. Report number 100945417

Officer Khan responded to a theft call and met with the victim. The victim stated that he heard noise and looked out of the window to see shadows in the area of his car. He went outside and saw a dark colored van take off with a Hispanic male driving. The victim then saw that the chrome rims from his vehicle had been stolen and his vehicle left to rest of blocks of wood. Report number 100974448
10:20 am 1600 blk Sunnydale Battery
Officer Peregoy responded to a battery call in a public housing complex. The officer met with the victim and through a Vietnamese translator found that the victim had been pushed on the chest into a wall, injuring her head, by an unknown African American female. The victim had a bump on her head and was evaluated by a medic. The suspect fled the scene. Report number 100971343
12:42 am 300 blk Laidley Theft from Locked Vehicle
Officers Jones and Vizcay met with a victim who showed them that the right front passenger window of his vehicle had been smashed. The victim told the officers that he heard a car alarm and looked out of the window. He saw a shadowy figure run away from the area of his vehicle and saw the lights on inside of his car. The victim went to his car and found that a Bluetooth device was stolen from the glove box in the car. The victim did not get a description of the suspect. Report number 100974278
