Arrests:

03:30 pm                   100 blk Capistrano                         Vandalism to Vehicle
Officer Archilla responded to a vandalism call and met with both witness and suspect.  The witness stated that she observed the suspect scratch a car with an unknown object.  The officer observed the damage.  The suspect stated that he had nothing to do with the damage.  The witness placed the suspect under citizens arrest.  The officer took custody of the suspect then cited and released him at the scene.  Report number 100895511

04:46 pm                   Mission/Cortland                            Warrant Arrest
Officers Tam and Burke conducted a traffic stop and found that the driver of the vehicle had a warrant for his arrest in Berkeley.  The officers took the driver into custody and booked him at Ingleside Station.  Report number 100895276

A man recklessly drove through a neighborhood block party around police barricades blocking the street.  The neighbors, enjoying their event, were shocked and scared that the man may injure or kill any of the numerous adults and children and yelled for him to stop.  The man cursed at the victims and yelled out racial slurs.  The victims took note of the vehicle license plate and the description of the driver and called for the police.  Officers Perez and Reyes responded to the scene and with the information provided to them responded to the house of the owner of the vehicle.  The driver was seen exiting the garage area of the house and the vehicle was seen in the garage.  The officers contacted the suspect and he failed to comply with their lawful commands and fought against the officers.  The suspect was eventually taken into custody.  He was later identified by some of the victims.  He was booked at County Jail.  Report number 100895602

SFCCPD Officers Burlyga and Flood responded to an alarm call and found a subject in a stairwell near the activated door.  The suspect was found to be in possession of a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine.  The suspect was arrested and a further search revealed additional narcotics including prescription medication.  The suspect was booked at County Jail.  Report number 100895765

Officers Morse and Anderson responded to a graffiti in progress call and met with the caller.  The reportee told the officers that the suspect who spray painted a parked truck had run into a nearby park.  The officers searched the area with other officers to no avail.  The officers were unable to notify the vehicle owner of the damage and the reportee refused to provide any other information.  Report number 100893894

A neighbor called the police after seeing an African American man in all black clothing break into her vehicle.  The suspect then fled the area in a red or maroon Honda Accord. The victim met with the officers and told them that her iPhone had been stolen from the vehicle.  Report number 100893935

Sgt Miller responded to a residential burglary and met with the victim who told him that she had left her home secured and returned 2 ½ hours later to find a broken window and numerous items of property stolen.  Report number 100894416

Officers Padilla and Sullivan responded to a burglary call.  The victim stated that she was asleep in a bedroom off of the garage of the house and awoke to find that someone had broken the side door to the garage and entered the garage and stole an expensive power tool.  The victim did not witness any part of the burglary.  Report number 100894488

Officer Larocca responded to a residential burglary and met with the victim who stated that his bicycle was stolen from a common garage in the building.  The victim showed the officer that a lock securing the bicycle was broken by the suspect.  The front door of the building was not able to be secured due to previous damage.  Report number 100894466

A woman responded to Ingleside Station and told PSA Knuckles that she was threatened by her tenants’ ex-husband.  The suspect was yelling in front of the house and then threatened the victim when she attempted to quiet him.  Report number 100898693

09:40 pm                   Cortland/Bennington                    Robbery, Street, w/Force
Officers Anderson and Morse responded to a robbery call and met with the victim and a witness.  The victim told the officers that she was sitting at the corner when two African American teenage females approached her and stole her backpack from under her legs.  She gave chase and yelled for help and a witness joined the pursuit.  The victim located her bag on Cortland and Andover.  The witness stated that it was dropped when the suspects saw him using his phone to call 911.  Report number 100896008

A young woman was seated on a Muni bus when a man, somewhat known to her and her family, approached her and took the seat next to her.  The suspect then touched the victim inappropriately and spoke to her about his sexual musings.  The woman repeatedly told the suspect to stop bothering her and made noise to attract the attention of other passengers.  The man got off of the bus at Geneva and Naples and is known to frequent that area.  The suspect is known as “Rolando” and is described as an Asian male, 5’1, 135 lbs, black hair, black eyes, 35-39 years old, and is missing his bottom teeth.  Report number 100896406

11:14 pm                   100 blk Fairmount                          Vandalism to Vehicles
A witness heard a window smash and looked out the window.  The victim saw two African American males at the passenger side of a neighbors’ vehicle and one of the suspect had his entire upper body inside of the vehicle.  The witness turned on a light and it spooked the suspects who ran away south on Whitney St.  Officer Brown with Officers Burke and Tam, responded and searched the area to no avail.  The officers located a second vehicle with a broken window parked next to the original one.  No loss was reported.  Report number 100896252
