03:15 pm       Unit blk Brookdale             Marijuana Offense
Officers Hopkins, Morrow and Naval observed a man known to them riding a dirt bike style motorcycle without a helmet on the housing authority land.  The officers lost sight of the suspect and a short while later located him, but not the motorcycle.  The officers contacted the man and smelled a strong odor of marijuana on his person.  The officers detained and searched the man and found him to be in possession of several baggies of marijuana.  The suspect did not have a medical marijuana card.  He was cited and released.  Report number 110106988

Officers Chew and Barajas responded to a possible auto boost call.  The officers located the vehicle with the described suspect seated inside.  The officers discovered that the vehicle had not been broken into, but that the subject inside had a parole violation warrant for his arrest.  The officers took the subject into custody.  The officers spoke with the vehicle owner and discovered that he was on probation.  The officers exercised the subjects search condition to no avail.  The vehicle was found to have expired registration and was towed to impound for the violation.  Report number 110107146

Sgt Lozada and Lt Moran conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a tinted window violation.  The officers searched the vehicle with the suspects’ permission and located cocaine, packaged for sale.  The officers took the suspect into custody.  During a booking search the officers found that the suspect had a large amount of cash in his possession. Officers Vizcay and Ma responded to an attempted auto boost.  The officers located two vehicles with broken windows.  The officers did not locate the vehicle owners and therefore left the case number on the vehicle windshields.  Report number 110105689

Officers Morgante and Martinez responded to a burglary call.  The officers met with an employee who stated that the store had been left secured the previous night.  The employee found that the security gate had been pried open and that the glass door was shattered.  Money, cigarettes and a small amount of merchandise was stolen during the burglary.  Report number 110106029

A victim responded to Ingleside Station and reported the theft of his wallet from his unlocked vehicle to PSA Flynn.  The victim stated that while he was removing an old appliance from his vehicle he left his wallet on the seat of the car with the windows down.  He was giving the appliance to a recycling company.  Upon returning to his vehicle he found the wallet missing and the recycling truck had left.  The victim contacted the company and was told that they had his wallet and would arrange with them for pickup, but he was never called back.  Report number 110107566

Officer Conceicao responded to a possible battery call.  The officer met with the caller who stated that she had located a man groaning and calling for help next to her home.  Medics were tending to a man who they had assisted out of the bushes and who was covered in dirt, but had no visible injuries.  The victim gave the officers several different stories of what happened to him.  He was taken to the hospital.  Report number 110107425

Officers Cassinelli and Hom responded to a fire call.  The officers entered the home after the fire department rendered it safe.  The officers found that the home was being used as marijuana grow house.  The officers were told that faulty wiring had caused the fire and that the occupants had been stealing electricity from PG&E.   Report number 110107607

Officers Apodaca and Gabriel responded to a burglary call.  The officers found that the front door had been forced open and the home ransacked.  The victim stated that he did not notice anything stolen.  Report number 110108031

Officers Ma and Morse responded to a robbery call.  The officers met with the victim and found that he had been robbed at gunpoint by two Caucasian male adults, 20-25 years old, 6’3, 160-170 lbs.  The victim stated that he was walking alone when he was suddenly approached by the two suspects. One of the suspect pointed a handgun at him while the other went through his pockets and stole his wallet.  The victim saw the suspects rob another person immediately after robbing him.  Report number 110108172

Officers Dilag and Lundy responded to a robbery call.  The victim told the officers that he had been robbed at gunpoint by two Hispanic males, one who was armed with a large handgun.  The suspects approached the victim and one pointed the gun at the victims’ neck while they demanded his property.  The victim handed the suspects his wallet and cell phone.  The suspects fled on foot on Lisbon.  The victim described the suspects as Hispanic male adults, 19-20 years old, 5’8 - 6’1, 160-170 lbs.  One suspect had black hair, pulled into a pony tail and the other had black curly hair.  Both were wearing black hooded sweatshirts.  Report number 110108138

Arrests:

2:50 am     300 blk 29th Street      Assault
Officers Vizcay and Ferronato were sent to investigate an assault case. The victim was waiting outside with a fat lip. The victim told the officers that a known suspect had punched then on the lip and that the suspect was still inside the house. The officers called an ambulance and went inside with a witness that came and met the officers. The suspect was on a bed and appeared to be sleeping. The suspect denied doing anything. Because of the statements and the physical evidence on the suspects’ body, he was placed under arrest and booked at Ingleside station. Report number 110102704

4:43 am     Geneva/Prague          Resisting Arrest
Officers Anderson and Lozano were sent to investigate a wanted person that was seen at this location. The officers met with the caller who directed the officers to the suspect. The officer noticed that there were two suspects and both were asleep. The officers confirmed that the suspect had a NO BAIL warrant and woke the suspect up. Once the suspect saw that the police was there, he became combative. The officers advised the suspect he was under arrest. The suspect told the officers to let go of him, then began to swing his arms around. The officers were able to quickly control the suspect so as that he would not injure them or himself. Even with their efforts the suspect threw his weight around pushing the officers into a closet door twice. The officers were able to cuff the suspect thus ending the struggle. The second suspect was also wanted and also had a NO BAIL warrant. No one was injured during this arrest. Report number 110102776

Officer Daniels was contacted by Officer Phillips of the S.I.T. office regarding a burglary suspect that has been identified in a photo lineup. The officers then coordinated with Alameda Police who had already detained the suspect. Officers Daniels and Sgt Lozada responded to Alameda and met with Alameda Officer Summit. The officer told SFPD officers that the suspect came in to ask why the police were looking for him. Once there the SFPD officers conducted an interview which eventually ended with the suspect waiving his right to extradition to SF County for booking. Another burglar is in custody due to the tenacious work from the S.I.T. team, Ingleside Officers and Alameda police. Report number 110097127 This is the "Best Arrest of the Day"

Motorcycle Officer Villaruel was on patrol when he noticed a vehicle stop at a stop sign, but maneuvered around a pedestrian that was in the crosswalk pushing a baby stroller. The vehicle made a turn, and then drove on the wrong side of the street. The officer stopped the vehicle and asked the driver for a valid license. The driver told the officer that he did not have a license and that he was on probation. The driver had no identification at all. The driver was taken to Ingleside Station to verify his identity. The officer was able to ascertain that the driver was operating with a suspended or revoked license. The driver was cited for the suspended license and the original violation (must yield to pedestrians in crosswalk). The driver told the officer that as it pertained to the pedestrian "I thought she was going to stop". The vehicle was towed. Report number 110103768

3:44 pm     Mission/Ocean           Warrant Arrest
Officer Toomey was on patrol when he noticed a vehicle that had a broken tail lamp cover (Violation 22454a CVC). The officer also observed that the passengers in the car were not wearing seatbelts (Violation 27315 CVC). The officer stopped the car and informed the driver of the violations. While conducting a DMV check on the driver, the officer discovered that there was an outstanding NO BAIL warrant from Santa Clara County. The driver was arrested and later booked at Ingleside Station for the traffic violation and warrant. The vehicle was left at the scene legally parked and locked. Report number 110104283

Police Services Aide Heckenberg-Tognozzi prepared a report regarding a fraud case. The victim told the PSA that an unknown suspect has taken his identity and used it to get credit. The victim told the PSA that his account has now been noted. Report number 110083615

Officers Vizcay and Ma were sent to investigate a vandalism incident. the officers were able to locate two vehicles that had broken windows. The officers conducted a DMV search in an attempt to locate the owners of the vehicles. The Officers attempt to notify the registered owner was negative. The officers secured the vehicles as best they could and left a report number for the owner to refer to and contact the station if needed. Report number 110105689

Officers Putz and Giannini were sent to investigate a vehicle that had been abandoned. The officers located the vehicle and noticed that there was front fresh front end damage to the vehicle. The officers were able to ascertain that this vehicle had been involved in a hit and run accident in the park police district of the city. The suspect driver then drove to this location and abandoned the vehicle.  This case is under investigation. Report number 110099468

Officer Morgante was sent to investigate a shooting incident. The officer met with the home owner. The victim told the officer that an unknown suspect had shot at the house (no one was injured) and that she had located the lead. The evidence was turned over to the officer for booking. 3:20 pm     Silver/Mission             Exhibiting Weapon
Officers McMilton and Polovina were sent to investigate a person brandishing a gun at a driver. The victim flagged down the officers and told them that he was in traffic at a red light. The victim said that there was a car with two suspects in it that were trying to intimidate him by staring him down. The victim looked away to avoid any problems. The victim said that while he was still at the red light the car pulled up to his and he heard someone say "HEY!" the victim looked over and replied "Yeah?" the victim asked whites up. The suspect pulled up a gun and said "This is what’s up". The victim told the officers that he feared and drove off. The victim had the presence of mind to go back and get the plate of the vehicle to then call 911. This case is under investigation. Report number 110104211

SFCCPD Officer Hector was sent to investigate a theft case. the victim told the officer that he was at the library studying and placed his laptop in his backpack, which he then placed on an unoccupied chair behind him. The victim continued studying and when he was done went to grab his property and discovered it was missing. The victim did not see anyone take the property. Report number 110101819

Officer Pereira was sent to investigate a robbery of a cell phone. The victim told the officer that she was standing on the MUNI platform with her phone in her hand. The victim said that an unknown suspect walked up to her and grabbed the phone right out of her hand the suspect the fled on San Jose ave. the victim told the officer that the whole incident took seconds. A search of the area by numerous Ingleside units resulted negative. Report number 110105043

Officers Gamboa and Padilla were sent to investigate a vandalism incident. When the officers arrived to the location they found that other Ingleside Officers had already arrived and had detained several subjects. Officers Gamboa and Padilla began their investigation. The officers were able to determine that the parties involved did not like each other. They were able to determine that a fight had occurred. The officers could not find out who was the one who started, because both parties were uncooperative. The officers were able to ascertain that one of the subjects had vandalized a vehicle present. That subject was arrested and then cited for the vandalism. Report number 110100485

10:14 am   Mission/Santa Rosa  Drug Arrest
Officers Najarro and Banta were on patrol when they came to a red light. The officer stopped at the red light and noticed a bicycle ride past and go through the red light without stopping.  When operating a bicycle on the roadways, riders MUST obey all traffic laws (21200a CVC). The officers proceeded to stop the rider. The officers asked the rider for identification to conduct a warrant check. The officers soon discovered that the rider was active parole. The officers conducted a parole search and discovered that the rider had drugs on him. This is in direct violation of his terms of parole. The officers placed the rider under arrest and booked him at Ingleside Station. The rider was also cited for the red light violation.  Report number 110099957

Officer Hornstein was sent to investigate a court order violation. The officer located the alleged suspect and spoke to him. The suspect told the officer that he knew about the order and produced a copy. The suspect apparently did not realize that the order was active till the 7th of this month and not the 3rd. the suspect was arrested for violation of the order. Report number 110100861

Officer Hornstein was sent to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officer that the suspect was renting from him, and that when he moved out, he took the victims furniture as well. Report number 110100316

Police Services Aide Flynn prepared a report regarding a fraud. The victim told the PSA that she rode on BART today and had her purse with her all day. The victim told the PSA that she did not notice anyone or anything suspicious. The victim told the PSA that at 8 pm she received a call from her bank informing her that someone had purchased 11, $100 BART tickets. Another $180 was spent at Trade Joes and $83 at Balboa BART. All her accounts were then closed. Report number 110102356

Officers Peregoy and Trail were patrolling the housing area near Sunnydale, when they were flagged down. The victim told the officers that an unknown person had broken her window. The victim did not see who did it, but wanted the incident reported. Report number 10095353

Officers Ferronato and Henry-Garcia were sent to investigate a possible fight. The officers located and spoke to the victim. The victim told the officers that a known suspect called the victim on her phone and threatened to kill her. The victim told the officers that she was scared because the suspect had broken a window at her home. Report number 110099537

4:15 am     Mission/Guttenberg Burglary
Officers Lozano and McCall were sent to investigate a burglary that had occurred at a bakery. The officers located the witness that called. The witness told the officers that he had just gotten off work and noticed a suspect running from the bakery next door. The witness said that the suspect stopped and asked the witness if they were open for business, the witness told the suspect “no”. The suspect was carrying something and was hiding it from the witness. The officers contacted the owner of the bakery and were informed that the loss was $100 and damage to the front door. The suspect is described as an African American male, 40 to 50 years old wearing all dark clothing. Report number 110099543

Officers Rand and Muro were on patrol when they observed a vehicle fail to yield to pedestrians that were in the crosswalk, crossing the street. The officers observed the driver drive his car right next to the pedestrians. The officers stopped the vehicle and asked the driver for his license. The driver told the officers that he did not have his license on him. The officers conducted a DMV check and discovered that not only did the drive never have a license issued, but that the registration of the vehicle had been falsified. The driver of the vehicle was cited for all the violations and his vehicle towed. Report number 110097569

12:03 pm  50 Phelan                    Warrant Arrest
SFCCPD Officers McGlaston and Sanchez were contacted by dispatch and told that a subject was waiting to meet them. The officers had been trying to locate this subject regarding a lost cell phone incident. The officers met with the subject and while they were discussing the incident the officers conducted a warrant check. The officers discovered that the subject had a $250,000 warrant. The officers placed the subject under arrest. Report number 110097315

1:27 pm     Geneva/Cayuga           Warrant Arrest
Officers Daggett and Toomey were on patrol when they observed a subject they had dealt with in the past. The officers knew that he subject had a probation search condition and they decided to enforce it. The officers approached the group of subjects where the known subject was and engaged them. The officers searched the subject in question and located methamphetamines in his possession. The subject was placed under arrest. The officers also discovered that one of the subjects there had an outstanding $5000 warrant. Both subjects were booked for the violations. Report number 110097729

2:15 pm     Persia/Madrid             Robbery Arrest
Officers Phillips, Jones and Sgt Cunningham had information on a suspect that had been identified in a robbery. The three set out to locate the wanted suspect. They first went to the suspect’s home that yielded nothing. The officers were on Persia Street when they observed a group of people getting off the bus. The officers observed that one individual looked like the suspect they were searching for. Officer Phillips called out the suspects’ name, the subject turned in response. They had him! The suspect was taken into custody without incident thus solving another robbery in the Ingleside. Report number 110078470

Officers Ng and Rosiak were on patrol and heard a broadcast of a wanted vehicle and subject. The subject was allegedly armed with a gun. The officers located the vehicle, along with other Ingleside Units on Leland. While with the detained subject the officers made contact via phone and learned that this suspect had made threats and simulated a gun to this victim in another part of the city. The officers placed the suspect under arrest and booked him at Ingleside Station.  Report number 110098335

7:08 pm     Diamond/Bosworth   Warrant Arrest
Officer Lim was on patrol when he noticed a vehicle parked in a bus zone in front of the BART station ($255). The officer approached the driver and advised the driver that he was parked illegally. The driver told the officer that he was waiting for someone that was on BART. The officer asked for Id and discovered that the driver had an outstanding NO BAIL robbery warrant out of Sacramento. The suspect was booked at Ingleside Station. Report number 110098727

Officers Rand and Muro were sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that his home is being renovated. He came home and observed a suspect walking out with tools. The victim engaged the suspect who caused the suspect to drop the tools and flee. The suspect got into silver Mitsubishi and drove off. The victim told the officers that he would recognize the suspect if seen again. Report number 110097127

Officers Rosiak and Ng were sent to investigate a theft incident. the victim told the officers that  a suspect came into his store and walked around for a short time. The suspect left and returned, once again the suspect left without purchasing anything. The victim told the officers that the suspect returned yet a third time and this time tried to purchase something with play money. The victim told the officers that the money resembled some that he had on display in his window. After the suspect left, the victim discovered that the palsy money he had in his window was missing. The suspect made off with the play money. Report number 110097268

Officers Padilla and Gamboa were sent to investigate a burglary. The victim told the officers that she was going to the laundry room in her building, when she noticed two suspects that did not belong in the building. The victim told officers that she turned to go back to her unit and call police. The victim told officers that the suspects then fled the building. The officers checked the garage area and, along with the victim discovered that there were two bicycles missing. Report number 110097901

Police Services Aide Cato prepared a report regarding a battery incident. The victim told the PSA that a known suspect told her that she would see what happened when she arrived to his location. The victim went on to say that when she arrived the suspect spat at her and yelled. The victim was not hurt, but wanted the incident documented. Report n umber 110095820

Officer Giannini was sent to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officer that she parked her car in front of her house and that when she saw it again the mirrors had been removed. The mirrors had been removed with tools. There are no suspects. Report number 110097365

Officer Giannini was sent to investigate a vandalism incident. The victim told the officer that she parked her car in front of her house. The victim told the officer that when she came out to her car in the morning she discovered that someone had scratched it. The victim does not know who could have done this and there were no suspects observed. Report number 110097462

Police Services Aide Zabarte prepared a report regarding theft case. The victim told the PSA that he parked his car in front of his home. The victim said that when he returned he discovered that someone had broken the wing window of his car. There was neither loss nor any suspects seen. 12:00 am   100 blk Alpha             Vandalism Auto
Officers Naval and Morrow were sent to investigate a vandalism case. The officers had just left that location on another vandalism report. As the officers arrived the victim was pointing down the street at a suspect. The officers were able to detain the suspect. The suspect had broken the victim car window after the officers had left moments before. The victim signed a complaint and the suspect was arrested and cited at the scene. The victim and suspect must appear in court now. Report number 110089522           

4:48 pm     Mission/Persia           Drug Arrest
Officers Tam and Burke were on patrol when the noticed a car parked at the fire hydrant. The officers went to address the car. The officers noticed that there were two people in the car. The offices spoke to the occupants and discovered that one of them was on probation and had a search condition. The offices asked the passenger if he had anything they should know about. The suspect told them that he had two sacks. The offices recovered two baggies of methamphetamines. The passenger was arrested and booked. The driver was cited for parking at a fire hydrant. Officers Matthew and Antonian were on patrol when they noticed a BMW cross over to the oncoming traffic lane. The officers stopped the car and approached to issue a citation. When the officer reached the widow he could smell marijuana. The officers asked everyone out of the car and discovered that the passenger in the rear of the car was the one smoking. The passenger was arrested, and then cited for the violation. Report number 11000295

Officers Marino and Morgante were sent to investigate a fraud case. The victim told the officers that a suspect came into the bank and asked to get a new ATM card issued because her card had been stolen. The suspect had the right information, but the victim noticed that she was reading the info from a card. When the suspect asked for a new PIN number the victim became suspicious and called the police. The suspect left prior to the police responding. Report number 110089867

Officers Hom and Cassinelli were sent to investigate a suspected gambling location. The victim told the officers that her husband told her he was going to gamble and had not returned or called her. The officers went to check the establishment and discovered gambling devices and other paraphernalia. The missing husband was not there. The caller requested no further police action regarding her husband. Photos were taken and sent to the inspectors for follow up. Report number 110090682

Officers Otaguro and Reyes were sent to investigate a shooting incident. The victim told the officers that unknown suspect(s) had shot through windows on the house. No suspects were seen. No one was injured, but there were several bullet holes located. Report number 110091113

Lt Vintero was on patrol when he noticed a vehicle with no front plates. The Lt stopped the vehicle and discovered that the driver had an outstanding traffic warrant. The driver was arrested. Report number 110092230

Officers Antonian and Dudley were sent to investigate a court order violation. The victim told the officers that the known suspect is under a court order to stay away and that he had violated said order. The officers located the suspect who was not the distance mandated by the order. The suspect was arrested for violating the order. Report number 110092779

Officers Tam and Burke the officers responded to a fight involving 15 people in the street. When the officers arrived the subjects dispersed. The officers detained on suspect and discovered that there was an outstanding $5000 warrant. The suspect was arrested and booked. Report number 110093385

10:00 pm 4800 blk Mission            Burglary Arrest
Officers Dilag and Lundy were sent to investigate a burglary in progress. the officers arrived and found the officers Leong and Conceicao had detained a suspect that was bleeding from the hand. The officers responded to the location of the possible burglary and were approached by a witness. The witness told the officers that while walking across the street he heard a loud thump. When the witness looked around to investigate, he saw the suspect kicking the front glass door of the store. The witness told the officers that he observed the suspect crawl in and out of the store over the shattered glass. The witness then saw the suspect then walked away carrying something from the store. The witness positively identified the suspect the officers had detained as the burglar. Another burglar is in jail because of a good witness and fast response from Ingleside officers. Officers Padilla and Henry-Garcia were sent to investigate a robbery case. The victim told the officers that he was walking along when he was attacked from behind. The victim told the officers that he was punched on the face and knocked to the ground. The suspect kicked the victim then took his cell phone. Both suspects are described as Hispanic males, between 15 to 20 years old. Both suspects were wearing dark clothing. Report number 110091599

Officer Lee prepared a report regarding a dog bit incident. The victim told the officer that he was jogging around the park and stopped to talk to a friend whom was walking his dog. The victim told the officer that the dog jumped up and bit him for no reason. The dog owner accompanied the victim to the station to make the report. Report number 110092008

Officer Rosiak met with the victim of a vandalism incident at Ingleside Station. The victim told the officer that she parked and locked her car without any damage in front of her house. The next morning she discovered that someone had scratched the car. The victim told the officer that she did not see anyone do the damage, but believed it was a known suspect to her. The victim gave the officer that suspect information for follow up. Report number 110093959
