Officers Pereira, and Archilla were on patrol in a marked police vehicle, near Geneva and Carter Drive. They were flagged down by an unknown female who told them that there was a vehicle, with an unknown male inside of it, parked in front of her house for the last 45 minutes. The officers made their way to
Cielito Drive , exiting their vehicles, making contact with the driver. When asked if he lived in the area in the area, the suspect said no, and that he was waiting for his girlfriend. When asked for identification, the suspect said he could not locate it, but provided the officers with his name. Officer Archilla conducted the computer check on the suspect, it was reveled that the first name that the suspect gave him, was not the suspect’s real name. When Officer Archilla returned to the car, and asked the suspect if he could provide identification, the suspect said: “no”, and gave Officer Archilla, another name. The suspect was asked to step out of the vehicle, and was placed under arrest by Officer Archilla for providing false information to a peace officer. Officer Pereira conducted a search of the suspect, and asked him if his identification was in his wallet. Officer Pereira found a California Driver’s License, and when a computer check was conducted on the driver’s license number, the number came back as belonging to his alleged girlfriend’s name. The officers determined that the license was a fraudulent one. While being walked back to the patrol car, the suspect gave Officer Archilla his real name, and the officer conducted a computer check through dispatch, which revealed that the suspect had a parole violation warrant, his license was suspended or revoked, and that he had a search condition for prior narcotics. Since the suspect had a search condition, Officer Archilla conducted a vehicle search. While conducting a search, Officer Archilla found a blue money bag, which inside of it had: a plastic baggy containing a crystalline type substance, which was consistent with suspected methamphetamine; a black plastic baggy, containing a white powdered substance, which was consistent with suspected cocaine salt; also, a clear plastic baggy containing an unknown amount of green pills, with the letters “M”, and “C14” on them. On top of that, they found a black plastic baggy containing a square paper stamp, which was suspected LSD. They also found some blue loose pills, and a clear plastic baggy, containing a green powdered substance that was consistent with the illegal substance hash. Next to the blue money bag, the officers also found three clear plastic bags, containing a green leafy substance, which is consistent in suspected marijuana. Also, the officers found an aluminum box that had a clear top on it. A black digital scale that had residue of a green leafy substance, and a crystalline substance was also located. Due to their training and experience, the officers suspected the scale to be used in the illegal sale of narcotics. Next to the scale, Officer Archilla found a clear plastic bag containing an unknown amount of smaller, clear plastic baggies. Again, due to their training and experience, the officers recognized the small baggies to be consistent with the ones that individuals use to distribute illegal narcotics. It should be noted that no prescription was found for the pills that the officers found on the suspect.

The suspect was transported back to the Ingleside Station, where it was confirmed that he had an outstanding warrant and was later booked at the County Jail. Later at Ingleside Station, Officer Archilla conducted a test on the suspected narcotics, all yielding positive results for the presence of narcotics. The narcotics were placed in a sealed evidence envelope, and hand delivered to the narcotics drop box at the Hall of Justice at 850 Bryant Street, by Officer Archilla. The pills that were found on the suspect, were later identified by poison control. Report Number 120245930
