Arrests:
10:25pm Mission/Russia Warrant
Officers McCall and Lozano were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with a nonfunctional stop lamp. A record check of the license plate revealed the driver was a possible wanted person and to use caution if contact was made with the wanted individual. The officers affected a traffic stop and the driver presented a California Identification card for identification. He admitted to not having a California Driver’s License. Another male passenger was asked his name and he admitted to the officers that he was the “wanted” individual. The passenger exited the vehicle and was detained without incident. He was transported to Ingleside station at the instruction of Sgt. Turner pending further investigation.
A record check on the driver of the vehicle revealed his license to be suspended. He was cited at the scene and released. The vehicle was towed to Auto Return.
At Ingleside station the warrant check on the passenger of the vehicle was confirmed and he was booked at Ingleside station for the warrant. Report Number 120076359
11:50pm 4500 Blk Mission Battery
Officers Ma and Hermosura were dispatched with several other Ingleside officers regarding a fight on a MUNI bus. Upon their arrival, both gentlemen were detained. One of the men was lying on the sidewalk. He became combative and had to be placed in handcuffs. He claimed to have no injuries or complaint of pain.
The officers spoke with the other male they had detained who said he was on the MUNI bus when the male who was lying on the sidewalk began assaulting him for no reason. He stated he was punched several times and complained of pain to the side of his face. The officers immediately summoned an ambulance to assist him.
The officers spoke with the driver of the MUNI bus who confirmed she witnessed the altercation and that the male lying on the floor had started the fight. All parties were provided with follow up information and the suspect lying on the sidewalk was transported to the county jail and booked for the battery. Report Number 120076644

00:01am 1000 Blk Chenery Theft
Officer Lee was working at Ingleside station when a victim came in to report that he parked his vehicle and when he returned found several items missing. He stated there was no sign of forced entry and believed one of his roommates may have left the vehicle unlocked. He could provide no further information and was provided with follow up information. 11:10am 1000 Blk Mansell Robbery
Officer Najarro and several other Ingleside units responded to McClaren park regarding an individual who had been robbed at gunpoint. A description of the suspect was broadcast and the officers canvassed the area in search of him. The victim had a large hematoma on his forehead and an ambulance was summoned immediately. The victim told the officers that he was taking pictures in the park and when he was finished began walking back to his vehicle. He noticed a male walking towards him. When the suspect got closer to him he pulled out a black handgun, and began yanking the camera and other items from the victim. The victim struggled with the suspect and the suspect hit the victim’ head with the gun. The victim let go of his camera and the suspect ran out of the park toward Mansell Street. The victim then called the police.
The paramedics arrived and transported the victim to the hospital for further treatment. The officers took pictures of the victim’s injuries which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station. They provided him with follow up information.
The officers searched the area for the suspect to no avail. Report Number 120074701
11:30am 100 Blk Joost Robbery
Officer Phillips was working at Ingleside station when a victim came to the counter to report a robbery. She told him that she was walking on Joost Street and holding her Iphone in her hand. An unknown male approached her from behind, grabbed the phone from her and took off running toward Baden Street. She did not get a good look at the suspect and does not believe she could identify him. She provided a description of his clothing and officers searched the area unsuccessfully for him. 2:45pm 200 Blk Santos Burglary
Officers LaRocca and Muro were sent to investigate a burglary. They spoke with the reportee who advised that a neighbor who resides in an adjacent apartment had observed a male loitering in front of her apartment. The next morning the neighbor said she noticed damage to the front door and notified the reportee. The reportee stated that entry may have been made, but that nothing appeared to be missing. The officers provided the reportee with follow up information and took pictures of the scene which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station. Report Number 120078032
7:00pm 500 Blk Precita Vandalism
Officers Thompson and Phillips responded to an auto boost. They met with the victim who advised that he parked and secured his vehicle and was later notified by a neighbor that one of his windows had been broken. The victim stated that there was nothing missing from the vehicle and was provided with follow up information. A description of the suspect was provided by dispatch and officers searched the area for anyone fitting the description with negative results. Report Number 120077147
8:30pm Unit Blk Raymond Vandalism
Officers Seavey and Jones were dispatched to investigate a vandalism. The victim advised that several rocks had been thrown at his windows causing them to shatter. The victim said he did not know who may have thrown the rocks but wanted the incident documented. He was provided with follow up information. Report Number 120076412
8:53pm 200 Blk Rolph Agg. Assault
Officers Chang and Park were sent to a gas station regarding an assault. Upon their arrival, they observed paramedics providing medical assistance to an individual who was on the ground. The paramedics advised that the unknown male was suffering from a stab wound. The officers maintained a crime scene in the area where they followed a trail of blood. Several witnesses in the area stated that they observed the male and another male arguing and that after the fight the suspect boarded a black vehicle and drove away. They were unable to provide a description of the suspect and could not identify him. Officers searched the area for the vehicle or any weapons to no avail. They took pictures of the scene and booked them into evidence at Ingleside station. The officers viewed surveillance videos at nearby stores and ordered copies of the tapes for further investigation. Sgt. Kasper took over the investigation and SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit processed the scene for evidence. The victim was transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.
